Cashew nut is one of the four famous dried fruits in the world, which is kidney-shaped and yellowish-brown in shape. it can be fried or used as medicine. it is a good fruit for dietotherapy for patients with hyperlipidemia and coronary heart disease. The following is to introduce the planting conditions of cashew nuts.

1. Soil

Cashew nuts do not have high requirements for soil, except for poor development on heavy clay and limestone, other soils can grow normally, but loam or sandy loam with loose, fertile, good drainage and air permeability is the best. Avoid low-lying land with poor drainage or land with high salinity.

2. Temperature

Cashew nut is a warm tree species, which is not cold-resistant and requires a high temperature during the growing period. When the monthly average temperature is about 23-30 ℃, the flowering and fruiting of the plant is normal; when the temperature is about 20 ℃, the plant grows slowly; when the temperature is below 17 ℃, the plant is vulnerable to cold injury; when the temperature is below 15 ℃, the plant is seriously damaged to death.

3. Lighting

Cashew is a strong positive tree species, should be planted in the sunny land, give 4-6 hours of light every day, 1500-2500 hours of light throughout the year is the best. If the light is sufficient, the plant grows well and the number of flowering and fruiting is more; if the light is insufficient, the plant grows badly and the flowering and fruiting is less.

4. Moisture

Cashew growing peak season in the early rainy season, sufficient water, rapid growth, but can not accumulate water, to prevent rotting roots, to do a good job of drainage measures.
