The season is autumn, but also to the agricultural harvest season, the harvest of the field, farmers 'income has become many people's hearts entangled, the number of thoughts. Under the condition that the agricultural employment population and grain planting area are decreasing continuously, how to improve the land output rate, resource utilization rate and labor productivity so as to make the limited land feed the growing population is not an easy topic. Food is the most important thing for all needs, and agriculture is the first thing for all industries. With the large-scale transfer of agricultural population to cities, agricultural production based on families is gradually declining. Agricultural economy can only benefit from farmers 'quality, from agricultural industrialization intensity and from agricultural professionalization.

The professionalization of agricultural production is, first of all, the professionalization of farmers. The farmer's occupation accomplishment includes three aspects roughly, namely cultural technology quality, management ability and ideological and moral level. From the reality, the low quality of farmers themselves is a huge obstacle facing the professionalization of farmers. According to a survey conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture, the age of China's agricultural labor force is mainly concentrated over 40 years old, accounting for 75.9% of the total number of people engaged in agricultural production. The average age is close to 50 years old, and some areas are even over 55 years old, and the quality is worrying. Most of the post-90s generation in rural areas did not engage in agricultural production, nor did they have the skills and interests of agricultural production, and there was no successor to agriculture. In 2012, the No.1 Document of the Central Committee proposed for the first time that "vigorously cultivate new professional farmers". What exactly is a professional farmer? Zhang Xiaoshan, a senior agricultural expert, once said that unlike traditional farmers, new professional farmers are not only producers, but also investors, operators and decision makers, as well as market risks and natural risks. Frankly speaking, the new professional farmers are educated, skilled and capable farmers who regard farming as their lifelong occupation and have successors. The advantage of new-type professional farmer goes without saying, the key is how to guide qualified rural labor force to become professional farmer? On the one hand, it is necessary to establish and improve the cultivation system for professional farmers and create a good development environment for them; on the other hand, it is necessary to improve social management and rural financial system by increasing grain subsidies, providing technical support and professional training, ensuring that their income is higher than that of migrant workers, and attracting highly educated people to engage in agricultural production, so that more high-quality talents can become professional farmers.

When farmers change from an identity to a profession, the level of professionalism of farmers will directly affect the development process of agricultural industry. It can be said that without the professionalization of farmers, there would be no industrialization and modernization of agriculture. With the rapid advancement of industrialization and urbanization, the current agricultural development has entered the stage of accelerating the construction of a new agricultural management system. This phased change presents the characteristics of rising comprehensive cost of agricultural production, prominent structural contradiction between supply and demand of agricultural products, changeable rural social structure, accelerated integration of urban and rural development, etc. With the large-scale migration of rural population to cities, the question of who will engage in agricultural production begins to face the contradiction between small-scale peasant economy and large market. The professionalization of farmers not only solves the difficult problem of "who will plant land" in the future, but also answers the problem of "how to plant land". At the same time, the emergence of new agricultural management subjects also promotes the specialization, intensification, marketization and socialization of service of agricultural production. The continuous improvement of the intensive degree of agricultural industrialization reduces the production cost of agricultural products. The yield of land has been improved, and the safety of the quantity and quality of agricultural products has also been guaranteed to a certain extent.

The professionalization of farmers and the modernization of agriculture are interactive processes. When the household contract responsibility system is difficult to continue under the new situation,"farm" management has become an important management mode in the period of agricultural modernization, and the scale and intensive management of land has also enabled agricultural professional technology to have a world to display. It is certain that in the process of traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, professional farmers will become the driving force and support for the development of modern agriculture, and will also become an important driving force for the professionalization of agricultural production.
