Toona sinensis not only has a unique flavor, but also has high nutritional value, which is rich in potassium, calcium and magnesium. The content of vitamin B is also among the best in vegetables, and the market demand is also increasing. Next, we will introduce the planting technology of Toona sinensis in greenhouse.

1. Shed selection of seeds

Select sandy soil and fertile soil with flat terrain, sufficient light and good drainage as seedling breeding ground. Be sure to apply sufficient base fertilizer, apply high-quality farm fertilizer 5000kg, calcium superphosphate 100kg, urea 30kg per mu, spread evenly and turn deeply, and then plant seedlings on the whole border, generally border width 60~100cm. Select the new seeds of the year which are suitable for dwarfing planting, easy to control tree shape, high germination rate and good quality. The seeds should be full and bright red and yellow. The seed consumption per mu is 3~4kg.

two。 Soaking seeds to accelerate germination

Soak the seeds in 40% warm water for about 5 minutes, keep stirring, then soak in 20 ℃ ~ 30 ℃ warm water for 24 hours, remove and rinse, drain water, wrap 3 or 4 layers of wet gauze, and germinate at a temperature of 20 ℃ ~ 25 ℃. During the budding period, turn the seeds once or twice a day and rinse them with 25 ℃ of water for 2 or 3 times to control the excess moisture. 40% of the seeds can be sown when they sprout.

3. Seedling stage management

The seedlings emerged about 7 days after sowing, and the stems and leaves of the newly unearthed seedlings were delicate and should be shaded properly. When the seedlings had 1 or 2 true leaves, the seedlings were interspersed for the first time combined with intertillage and weeding. When there are 6 true leaves, the plastic film can be removed, and the seedlings can be interspersed and fixed. The seedlings were watered before the seedlings were fixed, and the seedlings were determined by the plant distance 20cm. In late August, the dwarfing treatment of seedlings was carried out when the plant height was about 50cm. Spraying 15% paclobutrazol 200 times 400 times every 10 to 15 days for 2 times in a row can control overgrowth, seal the top ahead of time, promote seedling dwarfing and increase material accumulation. The number of branches can be increased by paclobutrazol treatment combined with coring.

4. Harvest

After the greenhouse was covered with grass for 40-50 days, the buds of Toona sinensis grew to about 20cm, and the buds were harvested when they were well colored. When harvesting, cut off the bud with scissors, or cut off the bud with a quick blade, and try not to break it with your hands, so as not to damage the bud and the tree. In the first harvest, there were 2 compound leaves at the base of Toona sinensis head and 2 compound leaves in the second harvest. At the beginning of the harvest of lateral buds, it is necessary to leave part of the lateral buds not to be harvested, so as to form auxiliary maintenance techniques after germination, so as to restore the tree potential. It was harvested every 7-10 days, for a total of 4-5 times.

In recent years, the market demand of Toona sinensis is also gradually increasing, and the seedlings of Toona sinensis after harvest can also be sold as young trees, so planting Toona sinensis in greenhouse can still bring good economic benefits.
