I. site preparation

Choose a good planting site. The root system of turf plants is relatively developed, the soil layer should be thick, and the selected soil should be good. Before planting, the weeds and stones on the land should be cleared, then the land should be ploughed, the uneven places should be leveled, and finally the base fertilizer should be sprinkled. Replace poor or mixed soil.

II. Planting methods

1. Sowing method: select good quality seeds, sow them mechanically and spread them evenly into the soil. Before sowing, the soil should be ploughed and applied organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer. Cover the soil after sowing, so that the grass seeds are in close contact with the soil. Sprinkler irrigation every day. Sprinkler irrigation was applied to the lawn every few days after germination. During the growth period, we should do a good job in the treatment of diseases and insect pests, but also pull out weeds and prune the turf.

2. Planting method: the grass source with strong growth, high density and large area is selected. First cut the turf into parallel strips, and then cross-cut into pieces as needed. The size of the grass block depends on the transportation method and the convenience of operation. The thickness of the grass block is 3-5cm. The turf is closely connected, leaving no gap, but also can be missewn with each other.

3. Grass stem sowing method: including stem sowing method, stolon method and rhizome sowing method and so on. The main purpose of this study is to raise the mother lawn, shake off the soil, cut the creeping twigs and stems into 3-5cm and spread them evenly in the leveled soil, compacted with the soil, and then germinate after dozens of days of care.

4. Planting method: it is relatively simple to propagate with plants, and can save a lot of grass sources. Generally, grass blocks of 1 inch can be planted in the city of 5-10 years or more. When the grass source is abundant, you can use strips to plant, on the flat ground with 20-40cm as the line spacing, open the 5cm deep trench, put the torn grass into the ditch, and then fill the soil and step on it. Similarly, it is possible to plant holes with 20-40cm as the row spacing.

5. planting belt spreading method: non-woven cloth with certain toughness and elasticity is used, seeds and fertilizers are evenly sprinkled on it, and then planted. Generally speaking, automatic equipment is used in factories for continuous production and manufacturing.

III. Maintenance and management

After the completion of planting, maintenance and management is needed in the process of turf growth. There is a large transpiration before the rainy season, which requires multiple irrigations. when the rainy season comes, irrigation can be stopped. In order to keep the turf green and dense, fertilizers should be applied properly. Nitrogen fertilizer is essential. Turf tank planting does not need pruning, growing to a certain height needs to be repaired. Clean up the weeds in time.

The cultivation of turf requires a certain amount of manpower and material resources, and we should not destroy the planted turf casually in our daily life.
