The State Grain Administration carries out autumn grain purchase and grain storage safety supervision and inspection.

In order to effectively do a good job in the purchase of autumn grain in 2015 and safe grain storage in autumn, the State Grain Administration issued the notice of the Office of the State Grain Administration on doing a good job in the purchase of autumn grain in 2015 and safe grain storage in autumn and carrying out special inspection (State Grain and Electric Power (2015) No. 8). It requires local grain administrative departments, central grain enterprises and local grain enterprises to take immediate action. We will carry out special inspections on the purchase of autumn grain and the safety of grain storage and production.

From October 14 to October 21, the State Grain Administration sent a working group led by bureau leaders to 10 major grain producing provinces, including Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Sichuan.

In view of the current high pressure on the collection and storage of autumn grain and the outstanding contradictions and problems faced by the safety of grain storage, the working group focused on the supervision and inspection of the purchase of autumn grain, the safety of grain storage and production safety, and the construction of storage facilities. Guide local grain administrative departments to earnestly do a good job in the purchase of autumn grain, urge grain collection and storage enterprises to strictly implement the "five requirements and five forbidden" grain purchase rules, and never be allowed to "issue white slips" to farmers to ensure that farmers can grow and sell grain; strengthen the sense of responsibility of the main body of the collection and storage enterprises for safe production, strengthen measures for safe storage of grain, prevent the occurrence of accidents of safe production and bad grain, and ensure the safety of grain storage. The supervision and inspection team also conducted an investigation on the autumn grain purchase market, and promptly discovered and mastered the new developments, new momentum, and new experience created by grass-roots grain enterprises.
