Impatiens usually bloom from July to October. However, the flowering time will be different with different sowing time, such as sowing in late March, flowering in June-August, sowing in late April, flowering in July-September, and sowing from late May to early June. Attention, flower friends, the following four points should be paid attention to in the process of impatiens culture.

First, the introduction of points for attention in impatiens culture!

1. Moisture

Although impatiens like the moist environment, it can not be watered too much to keep the soil semi-dry and moist. In spring and autumn, watering once a day is enough, while in summer, it can be watered once in the morning and evening. When watering, do not water if the soil is still moist, wait until the soil is dry before watering, if too much watering will lead to rotting roots of impatiens.

2. Temperature

Impatiens likes a warm environment, so its suitable growth temperature is generally between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius, and because of its poor cold resistance, it should be placed indoors when the temperature is too low. especially in winter, too low temperature will frostbite the roots of impatiens, and if the temperature is too high more than 32 degrees Celsius, the leaves of impatiens will curl, and its growth rate will become slower. And growing at a suitable temperature can effectively shorten the growth cycle of impatiens.

3. Lighting

Adequate light is especially important for impatiens, which is usually more than eight hours. It can be placed in sunny places for a long time in spring and autumn. When the light is too strong in summer, it is necessary to avoid direct contact between impatiens and strong light. It is necessary to put it in a cool place for shade treatment. Excessive light will burn the flowers and leaves of impatiens, and it can be placed in sunny places all day in winter. If the light is not enough, it will slow down the growth rate of impatiens, affect its normal development and shorten the florescence of impatiens.

4. Fertilization

Impatiens likes fertilizer and can apply a small amount of fertilizer in its seedling period, but in its vigorous growth period, it is necessary to increase the frequency of fertilization. Liquid fertilizer can be applied every ten days. Liquid fertilizer can be soaked into the soil so that its roots can fully absorb nutrients. Attention should be paid to stop applying fertilizer during the flowering period of impatiens and when it is hot in summer. Before the beginning of winter, an appropriate amount of phosphate fertilizer and potassium fertilizer can be applied to enhance the cold resistance of impatiens.

In short, adequate light is more important for impatiens, light and fertilizer can effectively promote its growth, and can determine the extent to which impatiens grow. While water and temperature can control the growth rate of impatiens, in a suitable environment, can effectively prolong the florescence of impatiens, as long as keep these in mind, breeding impatiens is not a problem.
