Angelica sinensis is a commonly used medicinal material, mainly cultivated in Shaanxi, Hubei, Sichuan, Yunnan and other places in China. So, what are the planting conditions of Angelica sinensis?

1. Soil requirements

Angelica sinensis is suitable to grow in areas with high altitude. Generally, the planting land is above 2400 meters above sea level, and the yield and quality of Angelica sinensis are low, and it is easy to bolt in advance. It is suitable for sandy loam with deep soil layer, loose fertile soil, good drainage and high humus content.

2. Fertilization requirements

When transplanting, increasing the application of fertilizer can promote the yield increase at that time, generally choose the fertile black soil to raise seedlings, and apply a large amount of mountain ash agricultural fertilizer as base fertilizer combined with nitrogen, phosphorus and inorganic fertilizer. The application of nitrogen fertilizer in the early stage of nutrition production and phosphorus and potassium fertilizer in the later stage can significantly improve the yield and quality of Angelica sinensis.

3. Environmental requirements

Temperature: Angelica is suitable to grow in high altitude areas, so it is suitable for cold temperature conditions, at the same time, it is more sensitive to temperature. The best suitable temperature for growth is between 20 and 24 degrees, which can be maintained at the seedling stage to allow it to emerge quickly.

Moisture: the drought resistance and waterlogging resistance of Angelica sinensis are very poor, which indicates that the requirements for water conditions are relatively strict, and the soil water content of about 25% is the most suitable for Angelica sinensis growth. Timely irrigation and drainage is one of the main means to obtain high yield at that time.

Illumination: it belongs to the development type of alpine long sunshine, so it grows well, develops quickly and is easy to smoke under the condition of long sunshine.

Angelica sinensis is a kind of plant that likes light and fertilizer, so choosing sunny sloping land and topdressing in time is beneficial to root growth.
