Diaoguazi is a kind of health care and leisure food loved by the majority of consumers. it is refined and processed by modern technology and traditional formula. it not only has high medicinal value, but also has unique nutritional ingredients. So, what is the planting technology of hanging melon seeds?

1. Soil preparation and fertilization

If the roots of hanging melon plant are deep and luxuriant, the sandy loam with deep soil layer, fertile soil and good drainage should be selected. According to 667m2 planting, the row spacing is 5m, the plant spacing is 2m, and the planting hole 50cm is square. Sprinkle a little lime around, disinfect and control insects, apply the compound fertilizer 80kg mixed with soil miscellaneous fertilizer, cake fertilizer and calcium superphosphate in each hole, mix the hole soil and cover it evenly, then fill the cave surface with fine soil and fill the hole surface with water. When the soil is moderately dry and wet, ditches are opened for border planting. [1]

2. Field management

Intermediate ploughing and weeding: weeding once in spring and autumn, keeping the field free of weeds during the growth period, weeding as soon as you see the grass, and stopping after closing the row.

Reasonable topdressing: the number and quantity of fertilization can be determined according to the situation of vines and sitting melons, such as prosperous vines, high melon setting rate, less fertilization; weak vine growth, low melon setting rate, more fertilization. Ten days after transplanting, the mixture of 10~20mg/kg gibberellin and 20% urea was sprayed once, the seedling height was about 1.5m and urea was applied once again, and compound fertilizer was applied in 3 months from May to July, each time 15kg/667m2.

3. Erection of posts

The scaffolding material should choose a firm cement column with a height of about 1.6m, or bamboo and wood columns can be used as the main column, with one row of hanging melon and one row of columns. Every 2~2.5m1 root, 2-3 lines to build a horizontal frame, the upper two ends, the middle, four corners pull wire, keep firm. Two rows of thin bamboo poles are tied to the wire with a rope on the top of the shelf, and then two small bamboo poles are inserted next to the melon seedlings to pull them on the shelf.

4. Pruning and introducing vines

When hanging melon seedlings emerge in spring, 2-3 main buds are selected for each plant to remove the rest of the buds so as not to consume nutrients. When the main stem grows to 2m ~ 3m, topping in time to promote the growth of lateral branches. After closing the shed, the top is properly topped according to the growth, and the branches are thinned and the vines are thinned. Especially in the high temperature season from July to August, the stems and leaves grow fast and have many branches, which is also the period of flowering, fruit setting and fruit expansion, and the contradiction between vegetative growth and reproductive growth is prominent. Excessive nutrition is not conducive to fruit setting and fruit expansion, which often leads to young fruit atrophy. At this time, it is necessary to smear the buds, sparse the lateral branches and remove the overgrown branches.

5. Increase the rate of melon setting.

Hanging melon is a dioecious plant. In order to ensure natural pollination and improve the fruit setting rate, the proportion of male and female plants must be allocated reasonably, and it is generally appropriate to plant 4 male plants at intervals of 667m2. Artificial pollination is also an effective way to improve the fruit setting rate, generally around 8 o'clock in the morning, dipping male pollen with a brush and smearing it on the stigma of the pistil one by one.

6. Control of diseases and insect pests

The main insect pests of hanging melon are aphid, yellow melon, green worm, melon silk borer and so on. 4.5% fenvalerate, 80% dichlorvos, 1000 times.

Because Diaoguazi likes warm and humid climate, it has good cold resistance, is not resistant to drought, and is afraid of waterlogging. Therefore, in the planting process of hanging melon seeds, special attention should be paid not to watering too much.
