On October 18, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences held an on-site demonstration meeting on the integrated production mode of green yield-increasing and efficiency-increasing technology for single-cropping rice in Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province, which focused on the effectiveness of technology integration and application. and the next step of research and demonstration work are discussed. Chen Mengshan fully affirmed the remarkable results achieved by the research and demonstration project on the integrated production mode of green technology for increasing production and efficiency of rice. He said: the single-cropping rice production model shown in Zhuji this time has the characteristics of seeking high yield in the existing yield, achieving comprehensive mechanization and high quality, and more significantly saving cost and increasing efficiency, which reflects the requirements of the "one control, two reduction and three basic" goal put forward by the Ministry of Agriculture, so that we can see the bright prospect of higher yield, more efficient, and more sustainable development of rice production.

Chen Mengshan stressed: the CPC Central Committee and the State Council have always attached great importance to the issue of food security, demanding that we ensure basic self-sufficiency in grain and the absolute safety of food rations, and firmly hold the rice bowls of the Chinese people in their own hands. Rice is the main variety of grain and an important symbol of food security in our country. To ensure that grain is basically self-sufficient, rice has to bear a heavy burden; to ensure the absolute safety of food rations, rice must be absolutely safe. However, rice is also the variety with the largest fluctuation in production in history. at present, it is facing many challenges, such as the higher price of rice than abroad, the increase of production cost, the intensification of resource and environmental constraints and so on. To promote the stable development of rice production, we must change the mode of production and rely more on science and technology.

Chen Mengshan demanded that on the basis of summarizing the previous work, we should further clarify the objectives for the development of the "13th five-year Plan" and build a green production technology model for the whole rice industry chain.

The first is to strengthen source innovation and improve the research level of the model. In view of the current technical needs of rice production, we should further strengthen the research and development of varieties with high yield and high quality, fertilizer and medicine, and the whole process of mechanization and light simplification technology, so that there are core technologies in each link.

The second is to strengthen collaborative innovation and improve the technical system of the model. We should not only strengthen the cooperation in the hospital, further integrate the existing technological achievements of the whole hospital, but also strengthen the cooperation within the system, further strengthen the cooperation with domestic superior scientific research institutions, and establish a research and development system of collaborative innovation and technology integration demonstration. promote the improvement of the overall scientific research level of rice in China.

The third is to vigorously promote the transformation of achievements and expand the influence of the model. The technical standards and policy suggestions formed in the model study should be actively transformed to government departments, and the different technological models formed in various localities should be transformed and popularized to new agricultural operators such as local technology extension departments and large grain growers, so as to give better play to the benefits of model research and demonstration.

The fourth is to strengthen the system construction and promote the long-term and institutionalization of model research. The research topic of the model should come from the production practice and should be closely connected with the agricultural department and the extension department. Model research is not a temporary work or departmental work, but a long-term work and scientific research activity of the whole hospital. The model should not only integrate and promote the variety technology of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, but also integrate and promote the advanced technology of the whole industry, and give full play to the exemplary and leading role of the model.

According to Cheng Shihua, a researcher in charge of the project and director of the Rice Institute, with the support of the scientific and technological innovation project of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the project team revolves around the goals of "one control, two reductions, three basics" and "green production and efficiency". In conjunction with the relevant research institutes in the hospital, local scientific research institutions and agricultural technology extension departments, taking the new varieties selected by rice as the main carrier, aiming at the rice production mode and the growth characteristics of different seasons in the Yangtze River Basin. The research and demonstration of five different rice technology integrated production models of early, middle and late rice were carried out, and good results were obtained. The research and demonstration of single-cropping rice production model carried out in Zhuji, the integrated application of 11 core technologies, such as high-yield and high-quality rice varieties "Chunyou 84" and "Chunyou 927", rice "wheat border" wet seed cultivation technology, machine-transplanted rice light soilless substrate seedling raising technology, and so on, achieved the expected goal. The yield measurement shows that the 1000-mu demonstration field of "Chunyou 84" has an average increase of more than 100 kilograms per mu, an increase of 15 percent; about 150 tons of farmland irrigation water has been saved; the application of chemical fertilizers has been reduced by about 5 percent, and the use of pesticides has been reduced by more than 30 percent; and the cost has been saved by more than 100 yuan. the total efficiency is more than 400 yuan, and the increase of efficiency is 20%.
