It is easy to transplant seedlings with succulent leaves, but if you are not careful, it will affect the growth and even lead to succulent death. So when will the leaf cuttings be moved? What do you need to pay attention to when moving the basin?

When will the basin be moved?

After the succulent leaves grow buds, don't move the pot immediately. You can wait until you grow up a little bit, and then move when there are at least two or three layers of leaves. Because when succulent leaves grow, the root system is also growing, the root system is too weak and too few, and the slow pelvic period is long, which leads to a long time after the basin is moved. The root system of the seedling is also better. After the basin is moved, the basin is fast, and the growth speed is also fast. But don't wait until the seedlings are too large, especially if you have multiple seedlings in a pot, they will move about the same size, so that the roots of multiple seedlings will not be entangled with each other, making it more difficult to move.

2. Time to move the basin

The time of inserting succulent leaves into the basin should also be paid attention to, and it is best to move in the peak growing season, that is, when the temperature is above 15 degrees and below 30 degrees. If the cuttings are succulent in late autumn or winter, when the heating temperature is too low, wait until March or April in spring. If it is succulent cuttings in early spring, it can be moved in late spring. It is best not to move the cuttings when the soil is too wet, but when the soil is relatively dry, so that the roots are not easily injured, the roots are retained completely, and the slow pot period is short after the basin is moved, and it can grow as soon as possible. If you can move the basin on a cloudy day, you will soon adapt to the new environment and begin to grow.

Third, pay attention to maintenance

The roots of succulent leaf seedlings are newly grown and highly active. When moving the pot, don't trim the roots and dry them just like the newly bought seedlings, just dig out the original pot and plant it into the new pot. The original soil in the middle of the root system should not be shaken off to prevent damage to the capillaries. It is also possible to plant with native soil balls directly, and the serving basin is faster. Watering once after moving the basin, so that the root system and the new soil fit as soon as possible, not watering the root system and the soil overhead, will lead to the original root system withered. Do not bask in the sun immediately after moving the basin, put it in a bright light or astigmatism place for maintenance, pay attention to ventilation, generally take the basin in three or five days, and then gradually enter the normal maintenance. Some flower friends bask in the sun immediately after their leaves are planted in the pot. when the leaves wilt, they will also lead to the death of some capillaries and have to grow roots again, so they don't seem to grow for a month or two.

Although the succulent leaf seedling insertion and pot transfer are very simple, they still need to be paid attention to. If you do not pay attention to the details when moving the pot, it is likely to lead to succulent death. The previous work was futile.
