Friends in the seedling business should be no stranger to pine trees, which can be found in many cities. As one of the more common tree species, pine can not only afforest the environment, but also purify the air. So what is the planting method of pine trees? Let's have a look!

Planting methods of pine trees

1. Soil

Select the sandy loam with loose soil and deep soil layer, and choose to plant it in a flat area. Because sand piles are needed, houses with clean and intact doors and windows can be selected for comprehensive disinfection, pure sand with a humidity of about 60% is stored indoors, and pay attention to ventilation, moisturizing and anti-freezing. The following year, when the seeds have 40% to 50% cracks, they can be sown.

2. Seedling stage management

The seedlings were unearthed with shells from 25 to 30 days after sowing, and the shells fell off themselves in about 15 days. In this period, it is necessary to prevent the destruction of birds and animals. The main diseases and insect pests encountered by pine trees are blight, which can be sprayed with common carbendazim and other pesticides. It is critical to pay attention to timely loosening and watering so that it can maintain a good growth environment.

3. Points for attention in planting

Pine trees grow slowly, so transplanting is arranged according to the growth situation. Generally speaking, the seedlings of 1 ~ 2 years old are usually transplanted for the first time, and then cultivated for 1 ~ 2 years to go up the mountain for afforestation. The 5-year-old seedlings were transplanted for the second time, and the 8-10-year-old seedlings for the third time. After the third transplantation, it can be applied to landscaping.

Planting pine trees is a long process, which requires everyone to be patient and not to be impatient.
