Attention should be paid to aphids, Japanese beetles, thrips, leaf miners, snails, fungal wilt and other diseases and insect pests to do a good job of prevention in advance, reasonable spraying of pesticides.
Basil stems and leaves are generally harvested in July and August, and growers must harvest them in a timely manner. After harvest, fertilizer and water management should be done to promote the germination of new leaves.
