Grapes can also be potted, planted in the balcony or courtyard, can not only beautify the living environment, but also provide people with fresh fruit. Let's share the planting techniques of bonsai grapes.

1. Selection of basin

Any basin with hard texture, good drainage and air permeability, a slightly larger volume and more nutritious soil can be filled with more nutritious soil. The volume of the basin should not be too large, and the plain burning mud basin with diameter 35~45cm and deep 25~35cm is suitable. Soak it with bleach after it is selected, rinse and soak it with clean water, make it absorb enough water, and then dry it.

2. Basin soil

The basin soil is required to be loose, fertile, permeable, moisturizing, breathable and nutritious, which is made from the mixture of soil and fertilizer, and the ratio of soil to fertilizer is 7 ∶ 3. The soil is suitable for humus soil, and it can also be mixed with 40% of pastoral soil, 40% of decaying leaf soil and 20% of sandy soil. Fertilizer commonly used rotten horse manure, sheep manure, chicken manure or stable manure, if you can add a small amount of bone meal, phosphate fertilizer is better.

3. Planting

Choose one-year-old grape seedlings with developed roots, stout vines, full bud eyes and no diseases and insect pests, and soak them in clean water for 24 hours before planting. When planting, it is filled with potted soil of 1 hammer, 3 pounds and 2 pots to make a steamed bread. Put the root of the grape seedling on the soil, the root stem upright in the middle, and then bury the soil. After burying the soil, gently lift the seedlings, then compact the basin soil, continue to fill 9% of the soil, flatten the soil, and pour root water.

4. Watering

It can be watered every 2-3 days in early spring, every other day or every day in summer, properly controlled in autumn, and irrigated once a month or not during overwintering. Watering should be thoroughly, not only wet the surface and make the lower layer in a state of drought. Do not water too much, so as not to cause a waste of water and nutrients. The water temperature and basin temperature should not exceed 5 ℃.

5. Fertilization

After sprouting in the same year, cake fertilizer and water were applied every 15 days, extra-root fertilizer was applied after leaf spreading, and the mixed solution of urea and potassium dihydrogen phosphate was sprayed every 20 days. For the fruitful grapes, the mixture of cake fertilizer and urea solution was applied twice before sprouting, once every 10 days from sprouting to fruit setting, and applying cake fertilizer and compound fertilizer every 5 days from fruit setting to defoliation, each for about 10 times.

6. Loosen the soil

Potted grape soil is easy to harden. Loosen the soil often, not too deep, so as not to hurt the young roots.

7. Set up a fight

Grape is a climbing plant, to build a frame, set up a 1.2-1.5-meter-long wooden pole or bamboo pole in the middle of the basin, and tie the main vine of that year to the main pole.

8. Pruning

In order to improve fruit setting rate and berry quality, flower thinning, fruit thinning, branch thinning, heart picking and tendrils should be removed in time.

9. Disease and pest control

In the high temperature and rainy season, diseases and insect pests such as powdery mildew, downy mildew and red spiders will occur. if there are diseases and insect pests, the stone sulfur mixture of 0.2 ~ 0.3 degrees can be sprayed.
