So what is the method of growing night orchids?

1. Site selection

Place orchids is also very important, it will directly affect the growth and development of orchids. Most orchids are placed in the open field in spring, summer and autumn, and placed indoors in cold winter.

2. Lighting conditions

There are four principles for planting orchids, namely,"spring is not out, summer is not in the sun, autumn is not dry, winter is not wet." Temperatures in spring are not very stable, leaving the house early is vulnerable to cold weather, and it is safer to leave the house in early April. In summer, orchids should be kept in the shade, away from direct sunlight, and supported by scattered light. In autumn, orchids sprout and are pulled out, and the pot soil should be kept moist to avoid being too dry.

3. Fertilization method

In the growing season of orchids, the decomposed bean cake water and horseshoe sauce residue water are poured once every half month. If the right amount of potassium dihydrogen phosphate is applied, the effect is better. Do not fertilize in summer. When the temperature is too high, in addition to daily watering, spray many times, preferably with slightly acidic water. Frequent spraying of leaves with clean water not only improves the growing environment, but also keeps the leaves clean and reduces the chance of infection.

4, watering method

Orchid roots are fleshy. In winter, the amount of water needed for dormancy is not much, the soil in the pot is wet, and not too much water is needed to avoid root and leaf disease. The flower Yan said: "Dry orchid wet chrysanthemum", this has certain truth. Generally speaking, orchids dry best in 8 minutes. When orchid leaf buds are elongated by about 1.5 cm from June to July, 1-2 times the thin decomposition liquid fertilizer can be applied, which is not suitable for fertilizer.
