Dendrobium candidum is a common medicinal material in China, which has high medicinal value. Many people like to use it to make soup and make tea, so it is planted artificially in many areas. What are the cultivation techniques of Dendrobium candidum?

1. Select the place

Dendrobium candidum is suitable to grow on the slope where the positive direction is poor and the slope is relatively mild. If you choose more rocks, it is better, because Dendrobium grows better in this environment, of course, the rock can not be too big. For the dense weeds on the grassland, farmers still need to clean up, and it is best to deal with them centrally. It is best to spread a layer of plant ash before planting. Or you can find some places where moss is distributed, remove the moss and plant it.

2. Cultivation

(1) cultivation time: spring.

(2) cultivation method: ramet propagation is generally used.

(3) cultivation methods: firstly, the disease-free mother plant of Dendrobium was selected, and then the rhizome was cut off for about 2 years. After that, cut off the old branches and leave the new roots with 2-3cm. When planting, it is best to plant against a stone or a big tree.

3. Management techniques after cultivation.

(1) moisture requirements: the air humidity of Dendrobium in the later stage of planting is too small to be often watered and moisturized, and a sprayer can be used to water in the form of spray.

(2) rational fertilization: water-soluble fertilizer containing amino acids can be sprayed on the leaves of Dendrobium candidum which is frozen in winter, small plants and yellow leaves, and for those whose stems and leaves survive the winter normally, after adjusting the water in the substrate, high nitrogen compound fertilizer or potassium dihydrogen phosphate plus urea or total nutrient foliar fertilizer can be sprayed once every 7-10 days to promote the growth of new buds. For the lack of fertility substrate, it is appropriate to apply appropriate amount of fermented sheep manure, rapeseed cake and other organic fertilizer between rows, or combined with supplementary substrate at the same time.

(3) pruning: before sprouting new buds in spring every year, the withered stems in the clump were cut off combined with the old stems, and the diseased stems, weak stems and diseased roots were removed. After planting for 6-8 years, they were rebranched and propagated according to the growth of the clumps.

Generally speaking, Dendrobium candidum is easy to grow, as long as it can be planted where there are stones or saplings, and after planting, as long as watering, fertilization, pruning and other work can be done.
