First, what are the producing areas of tea?

The producing area of tea is usually divided into South China tea area, southwest tea area, Jiangbei tea area and Jiangnan tea area. Among them, South China tea area has Taiwan, Guangdong, Guangxi and other places, suitable for growing black tea, scented tea and so on; southwest tea area has Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan and other places, suitable for growing black tea, green tea and so on; Jiangbei tea area has Gansu, Shaanxi, Henan, Anhui and other places, suitable for growing green tea; Jiangnan tea area has Hunan, southern Jiangsu, southern Anhui and other places, suitable for growing green tea, black tea and other famous tea.

What are the types of tea in our country?

1. Green tea

Green tea is a kind of tea made without fermentation. The leaves and soup are green. The famous green teas in China are Xihu Longjing Tea, Dongting Biluochun, Xinyang Maojian Tea and so on.

Green tea is a kind of tea with the largest output in China, and its variety ranks first in the world. Its production process has gone through the process of killing, rolling and drying. Due to the different drying methods during processing, green tea can be divided into fried green tea, baked green tea, steamed green tea and sun-dried green tea. Green tea is produced in 18 tea-producing provinces (regions) across the country.

2. Black tea

Black tea is a kind of tea made by fermentation. The leaves and soup are red. The famous black teas in China are Anwei Qihong, Yunnan Dianhong, Hubei Yihong and so on. Black tea can be divided into three categories: small black tea, Kongfu black tea and black broken tea.

3. Green tea

Oolong tea is a kind of semi-fermented tea, characterized by green leaves in the center and red edges, commonly known as green leaves and red edges. Mainly produced in Fujian, Guangdong, Taiwan and other places. It is generally named after tea trees from the place of origin, such as Tieguanyin, Dahongpao, Oolong and so on. It has the mellow taste of black tea, and it is more astringent than ordinary black tea; it has the refreshing taste of green tea, but not the astringent taste of general green tea, its aroma is strong and lasting, and it has the effects of refreshing, digestion, relieving dysentery, relieving summer heat, sobering up and so on.

4. White tea

White tea is a kind of tea without fermentation or kneading. With natural flavor, tea is divided into big white, daffodil white, mountain white and other categories, among which silver needle white hair is the most precious, characterized by white hair, silver flowers, yellowish soup and sweet taste, mainly produced in Fuding County and Zhenghe County, Fujian Province. It is a specialty of our country.

5. Black tea

Black tea belongs to post-fermented tea, which is unique to China. It has a long history of production. It is mainly produced in Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangxi and other places. The main varieties of black tea are Hunan black tea, Sichuan border tea, Yunnan Pu'er tea and so on.

6. Yellow tea

Yellow tea belongs to fermented tea. The production of yellow tea is similar to that of green tea, except that there is one more stuffy stacking process. This stuffy process is not only the main feature of yellow tea production, but also the basic difference between yellow tea and green tea. The representative tea has Mengding yellow bud and Huoshan yellow bud.

7. Scented tea

Scented tea is one of the finished green teas. Scented the fragrant flowers in the tea embryo. The commonly used fragrant flowers are jasmine, magnolia, daidai, rose, grapefruit and so on. Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and Sichuan are the main producing areas. Suzhou jasmine tea is a famous product of scented tea; Fujian jasmine tea is a Luzhou-scented tea with mellow, strong aroma, yellow-green soup and long-lasting taste.
