Reason one: the soil is too sour or alkaline. The pH of the soil can affect the solubility of minerals. If the soil is too acidic, iron, aluminum and manganese are dissolved too much, the seedlings will be poisoned due to excessive absorption; soil excessive alkali, iron, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and zinc are easy to form soluble compounds, which will reduce the absorption of these elements by seedlings and cause yellow leaf disease.

The solution is to control the pH of the soil and adjust the pH value of the soil. For soils with excessive acidity, more nitrate can be applied; for soils with excessive alkalinity, more ammonium can be applied.

Reason two: lack of light. Saplings should have enough light to carry out photosynthesis. If the light is not enough, it will lead to smooth differentiation under the plant cells, thin stems and branches and yellowing of leaves.

Solution: increase the light.

Reason 3: the temperature is too low. If the temperature is too low, the seedlings will be cold, resulting in a decrease in respiratory rate, slow absorption of water and mineral elements, and yellowing and wilting of young shoots and leaves.

Solution: pay attention to cold prevention.

Reason 4: too much water. Too much water will cause soil anoxia, make it difficult for the roots to breathe, and block the absorption of water and fertilizer by the roots, which will lead to the yellowish top leaves of the new branches and the dark yellow of the old leaves, and the serious plants will wither and die.

Solution: timely loosen the soil, drainage, control the amount of water.

Reason 5: lack of water. When the water is insufficient, the seedlings wilt, and the new leaves take water from the old leaves, resulting in yellow shedding of the old leaves.

Solution: timely watering, watering thoroughly.

Reason 6: too little fertilizer. Too little fertilization and lack of nutrition of the seedlings will lead to green loss and yellowing of the leaves.

Solution: apply organic fertilizer.

Reason 7: excessive fertilization, too much. Fertilization is too thick, too much, will cause fertilizer damage, will lead to new leaves hypertrophy, leaves wrinkles but not stretch, old leaves gradually yellow and do not fall off.

Solution: rational fertilization, or organic fertilizer.

Reason 8: disease and insect harm. Tree seedlings appear diseases such as blight, rust, leaf spot blight, or are attacked by pests, which will lead to leaf wrinkling, curling, spots, yellowing and so on.

Solution: early prevention, once diseases and insect pests are found, they should be prevented and treated in time.

Reason 9: improper application of medicine. In the process of disease prevention and pest control, improper spraying or excessive concentration will cause drug damage to the seedlings and make the leaves yellow and fall off.

Solution: spray the medicine strictly according to the instructions, and rinse with clean water as soon as possible to reduce the medicine.
