Now more and more people advocate nature and environmental protection, and there are more and more organic food, not only organic vegetables and organic fruits, but also organic tea, so what is the difference between organic tea and inorganic tea?

What is organic tea?

Organic tea refers to the tea produced and processed in accordance with organic agricultural standards, without adding any synthetic fertilizers, plant growth regulators, pesticides, etc., and the finished product needs to meet the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movement (IFOAM) standards, and has a certificate issued by the organic (natural) food certification organization.

Generally speaking, organic tea refers to a kind of pure natural tea without pollution, while inorganic tea generally uses synthetic pesticides and chemical fertilizers in the production process.

At present, more than 20 tea production units in China have obtained organic tea certificates.

What is the difference between organic tea and inorganic tea?

1. Production and processing are different: organic tea is produced without any synthetic pesticides, fertilizers and plant chemicals, while inorganic tea is on the contrary.

2. Different production standards: organic tea needs to meet the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movement (IFOAM) standards, but inorganic tea does not have this requirement.

3. The price is different: the production cost of organic tea is higher than that of inorganic tea, so the price is higher.

What are the cultivation techniques of organic tea?

1. Environmental choice: parks far away from cities and industrial areas should be chosen, the air and water sources should meet the national first-class standards, and the content of heavy metals in soil should be lower than the prescribed standards.

2. Soil selection: the soil with deep and fertile soil, good permeability, organic matter content > 1.5% and pH value 4.5 to 6.5 should be selected.

3. Fertilization: select organic fertilizers that are not polluted by heavy metals, pesticides and other harmful chemicals, some natural minerals (such as mineral saltpeat, etc.), natural humates (such as peat, etc.), organic liquid fertilizers produced by pure biotechnology, bacterial fertilizers, special organic tea fertilizers, etc.

Organic tea is safer and more environmentally friendly than inorganic tea because of more stringent production standards, but ordinary tea produced in accordance with the regulations is also very safe.
