1. Variety selection

2. Soil and temperature requirements
The best sowing time for spring sowing corn was 15 ℃ in the upper layer of 7.6cm, and the summer sowing corn in North China was sown in time after wheat or pea harvest. The sowing depth is 2.5--10cm according to soil moisture, and 5-6cm is the most suitable.
3. Fertilization
Before sowing, 2000-3000kg high-quality barnyard manure was applied per mu as base fertilizer. When sowing, 4-5kg/ mu of sulfuric acid, 15-20kg/ mu of superphosphate and 2-3kg/ mu of chlorinated trees were applied as seed fertilizer at jointing, booting, heading, flowering and filling stages. 10-20kg/ mu of nitrogen was applied during the whole growth period.
During the growth of corn, it is also necessary to ensure adequate watering. Generally, a batch of corn can be watered 3-4 times.
