Cherry includes cherry subgenus, sour cherry subgenus, cassia cherry subgenus and so on. It is rich in sugar, protein, vitamins and calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium and other elements. So how do you grow cherries?

I. choose the environment and soil

Cherry planting requires leeward, air circulation, loose soil, slow temperature change places, because cherries are afraid of waterlogging, are not resistant to drought, and are easy to be blown down by the wind, generally choose a sunny leeward slope to facilitate drainage.

Second, digging ditches and holes

Cherry planting is generally carried out in late autumn and early winter, when planting, we should first determine the row spacing and plant spacing, and then begin to dig ditch holes, the size of which is determined according to the size of the plant, generally 40 cm wide and 30 cm deep.

III. Fertilization

When planting, first apply base fertilizer in the ditch hole, each plant about 1.5 kg of organic fertilizer or compound fertilizer or rotten farm manure, the amount of fertilizer depends on the size of the plant and the ditch hole.

IV. Colonization

When planting, put the plant flat into the planting pond, stretch the roots, and lift the plant slightly when filling the soil, so that the roots are closely integrated with the soil.

Cherry has higher requirements for soil moisture, which is neither drought-resistant nor waterlogging-resistant. Therefore, it is necessary to choose loose and permeable soil, and organic fertilizer can be used properly.
