Flavobacterium, which is what we call chicken oil fungus, is a kind of edible fungus with great nutritional value. This kind of fungus is mostly produced in the wild. Can Flavomyces be planted artificially?

Can Flavobacterium be planted artificially

Flavobacterium can be planted artificially, and the experiment of artificial cultivation has been successful, but commercial large-scale cultivation can not be achieved at present.

II. Artificial planting methods of Flavobacterium

At present, artificial planting mainly adopts the method of tissue separation and cultivation.

1. Culture bacteria with ingredients

The culture medium and preparation are the same as the bottle cultivation method. The culture material was put into a bottle or plastic bag, and the bacteria were cultured after sterilization and inoculation. when the mycelium was full of culture material, it was planted in a box.

2. Box culture

Using wooden boxes or cartons to load, first lay a layer of humus soil 4 to 5 centimeters thick at the bottom of the box, and then cover it with fungus material 2 to 3 centimeters thick after a little compaction, then cover with film to keep warm and moisturize, so as to restore the growth of mycelium.

3. Training and management

About 10 days after packing, spray atomized water to the box surface, spray gently and frequently, so that the water does not infiltrate into the culture medium to keep the surface moist. When the white mycelium patch appeared on the surface of the culture medium, the mixture of 0.1% vitamin B1 and urea was sprayed to the material surface once, which could promote the mycelium growth and primordium formation.

4. Harvest

When the fruiting body is mature and the cap is not unfolded, it is harvested. After harvest, the box surface is arranged, the humus soil is covered, and the nutrient solution is sprayed to promote the formation of the next batch fruit body.

What is Flavobacterium?

The outer fruiting body is fleshy apricot yellow, egg yellow or loquat yellow, 4-12 cm high; the cover is protruding at the beginning, then unfolds, and forms a middle depression due to the raised edge, such as morning glory, 3-10 cm in diameter, smooth surface, slightly sticky, thick and obtuse edge, wavy, inrolled and often valved, white to yellow, 2-3 mm thick, with strong almond flavor and slightly sweet. The pleats are narrow, ridged, sparsely arranged, slightly curved, bifurcated or interlaced with each other, and elongated with the stalk; the stipe is short and thick, 2-6 cm long and 5-8 mm thick, tapering downward, smooth and fleshy. More common in summer and autumn, often born on coniferous broad-leaved forest land on gentle slopes with good drainage, such as under the rotten pine hairs under pine trees or in the grass under sesame oak, clustered or nearly clustered.

Flavobacterium is rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, polysaccharides and mineral elements, which can resist bacteria and viruses and help treat tumors and cardiovascular diseases.

Yellow mycelium is nutritious and tastes good. When you buy it, you must choose the authentic one.
