How to plant dry lotus

II. Methods of reproduction

1. Sowing and reproduction: sowing can be carried out in March-April or September-October. Soak the seeds in warm water for one day before sowing, cover one centimeter of soil after sowing, and pour water to ensure that the soil is moist. It will sprout in about a week and pot when 2-3 true leaves grow.

2, cuttage propagation: cutting is generally carried out in spring and autumn, the lower leaves of the cuttings are removed, and the cuttings are close to loose soil, with proper shading to ensure a growth environment of 10-15 ℃, which will take root in about 15 days.

III. Common diseases and insect pests

The common diseases and insect pests of alternanthera philoxeroides are mosaic disease, ring spot disease, aphids and so on. After discovery, the diseased branches and leaves should be cleared in time, sprayed with pesticides, and weeds should be cleaned up.

Because the dry lotus is not cold-resistant and likes to be warm and humid, it must be taken good cold protection measures in winter.
