On December 8th, the Rural Social Development Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Central Social Service Department of the Kuomintang Revolutionary Committee jointly held a series of 2015 national leisure agriculture and rural tourism activities and China (Zhuhai) Happy Village residence promotion activities in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. we will jointly promote the construction and development of China's new countryside. With the theme of "Happy Village residence and Beautiful Zhuhai", the activity discusses the current situation, tasks and countermeasures to promote the development of leisure agriculture and rural tourism.

According to Pan Libing, deputy director of the Agricultural products processing Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture, from 2016, the Ministry of Agriculture will launch a national leisure agriculture and rural tourism promotion project to promote the sustainable development of leisure agriculture and rural tourism through brand improvement, quality improvement, culture promotion, service promotion, foundation upgrading and system upgrading, and strive to achieve further expansion of industrial scale, reception and business income by 2020. The pattern of optimized layout, rich types, perfect functions and obvious characteristics has basically taken shape; social benefits have been significantly improved, and the income of farmers engaged in leisure agriculture has increased rapidly; the quality of development has been significantly improved, and the level of service has been greatly improved; the ability of sustainable development has been further enhanced, providing urban and rural residents with a high-quality leisure tourism experience that can see mountains, water and remember homesickness.

It is understood that the development of leisure agriculture and rural tourism depends on the east wind of leaders' great attention, strong policy support, strong market demand and strong capital investment. the industrial scale is expanding day by day, the development connotation is constantly improving, the type model is gradually enriched, the development mode is gradually changing, and the comprehensive benefit is improving synchronously. Promote a large number of rural areas such as scenic spots, pastoral parks, private houses into guest rooms, labor movement, green hills into golden mountains, products into commodities, let idle land flow, enrich leisure time, make surplus labor active, increasingly highlight the economic function of activating consumption to increase income, the social function of promoting employment, protecting and utilizing the cultural function of inheriting agricultural civilization, and beautifying the ecological function of the rural environment. It has become a strategic emerging industry to serve residents, develop agriculture, prosper rural areas, enrich farmers, protect ecology and inherit culture. According to estimates, in 2015, there are expected to be more than 1.8 million operators of various types of leisure agriculture in China, and the operating income is expected to reach 350 billion yuan, an increase of more than 10%.

During the event, the national leisure agriculture and rural tourism e-commerce platform "going to Farm" was officially launched; it also released the research results of the national star enterprises of leisure agriculture and rural tourism, the top ten boutique routes, the top ten leisure farms and Zhuhai Happy Village, and introduced the construction model of Happy Village in Zhuhai.
