Buying succulent plants for planting is more expensive than using succulent flaps. In order to save money, many people choose to grow succulent flaps directly. How to grow succulent flaps?

How to plant succulent flaps

1. Gently shake the succulent leaves, pick them off, and lay them flat on the soil.

2. If the soil is dry, you can spray some water to moist the soil properly.

3. After waiting for 1-2 weeks, the succulent petal can germinate, and the new plants that germinate and take root can be transplanted to other planting containers.

It should be noted that only leaves facing up or leaning against the basin wall, do not insert the leaves into the soil, otherwise it will cause the leaves to rot.

Depending on different varieties, small buds will sprout at the base of the leaves after about 2-4 weeks, even if the leaves are successfully inserted when the buds grow out of the roots or when the leafless buds grow into leaves.

Second, how can succulent plants control diseases and insect pests?

Different methods of pest control are also different:

1. Scale insects: when the number is small, sharp objects such as toothpicks and tweezers can be removed, or wet cotton swabs can be used to erase the worm body with its secretions. When the quantity is large, you can use the flower protection spirit to spray on the leaves according to the proportion of its instructions, and the dead corners that can not be sprayed on the leaves can be wiped with cotton swabs.

2. Black gray butterfly: the scale with a concentration of 11200 must be treated and sprayed, which has a good effect and can completely kill the eggs and larvae of the same batch. Butterflies can also be killed with the same drug for adults. When the larvae, eggs and adults are in trace amounts, they can be killed by trapping nets and tweezers.

3. Decay: the infected part of the crown decay can be cut off with a sterilized knife, and then the broken charcoal and sulfur are stuffed into the wound. The wound should be completely dry; the rotten part of the neck should be cut off, and the rest can be used as cuttings. Do not bury the wound until it is completely dry; fungal decay can be cut off with a clean knife and covered with sulfur. The plants were sprayed with a mixture of benzoate (a fungicide) and mancozeb.
