How to grow the root of rose

1. Select the place

Rose likes to grow in neutral and sour soil, so garden soil, rotten leaf soil, peat and perlite can be mixed into nutritious soil when selecting soil. Of course, rotten leaf soil can also be used together with a mixture rich in organic matter and peat. 2. Disinfection and sterilization

According to the state of rose root, the seedlings were soaked in water and sterilized. In addition, the state of the seedlings should be checked before planting. If it is found that the branches are wrinkled and dehydrated or the roots are dry, it is necessary to soak in water for 1-2 hours before planting. Carbendazim, chlorothalonil and other solutions can be used to soak roots and sterilize at the same time.

3. Pruning

Before planting, it is recommended that according to the branch condition of the bare root seedling, the branches can be cut to 15-20 cm (depending on the variety). At the same time, the withered branches, thin branches, crossed branches and disabled branches were cut off according to the branch condition of the seedling.

4. Planting

Plant the treated roots in the soil, then cover the soil and water the roots thoroughly.

5. Slow seedling

Within two weeks after planting, pay attention to keeping the soil moist, otherwise it is easy to dry to death. In addition, we should also do a good job of cold prevention, do not put it outside at night, low temperatures and strong winds will lead to the death of the rose.
