Auricularia auricula, also known as Auricularia auricula, is a new variety of edible fungus selected by Li Yu academician team of Jilin Agricultural University. it has high nutritional value and is a kind of precious edible fungus.

1. Formula

Prepare some sawdust, rice husk powder, bean powder, gypsum, lime and so on to mix into ingredients according to different proportions. The common recipes are as follows:

1. Sawdust 66%, rice husk powder 15%, refined rice bran 15%, soybean powder 2%, gypsum 1%, lime 0.5%, sucrose 0.5%.

2. Sawdust 80%, rice bran 15%, soybean powder 2%, corn meal 2%, gypsum 1%.

3. Sawdust 77%, wheat bran 20%, soybean meal 2%, lime 0.5%, gypsum 0.5%.

Second, temperature requirements

The spore germination temperature of Auricularia auricula was between 22 ℃ and 32 ℃, and the optimum temperature was 30 ℃. The mycelium could grow between 8 and 36 ℃, but the suitable one was 22 to 32 ℃. When the mycelium was below 8 ℃, the mycelium was inhibited above 38 ℃. The mycelium of Auricularia auricula can withstand high temperature and can not bear low temperature. The mycelium of Auricularia auricula can be killed at low temperature for a long time, so the preservation temperature of Auricularia auricula should be above 8 ℃.

Third, moisture

The water content of Auricularia auricula culture material should be 60%-70%. Too little water affects the absorption and utilization of nutrients and reduces the vitality of mycelium; too much water leads to poor air permeability and lack of oxygen, which inhibits the growth and development of mycelium and may even suffocate to death.

IV. Temperature requirements

During the formation of the fruiting body of Auricularia auricula, the humidity is more strict. In addition to the culture medium requiring water content of 70%, the air relative humidity is also required to be kept at 90%-95%. This promotes the fruiting body to grow rapidly, with big ears and thick flesh. Less than 80%, the formation of fruit body is slow, or even difficult to form fruit body.

5. Lighting

The light requirements of Auricularia auricula are different at different stages of development. The hyphae can grow normally in dark or scattered light. Light can promote the transformation of Auricularia auricula from vegetative growth to reproductive growth, which may be related to the light induction or activation of enzymes in the physiological transformation of fungi.

VI. Air

In the whole process of growth and development of Auricularia auricula, the cultivation site should keep the air fresh. In the production of bacteria, the moisture of the culture material should not be too much, and the bottle should not be too full in order to provide the necessary oxygen to the mycelium. In addition, fresh air can also avoid rotten ears and reduce the breeding of diseases and insects.

7. Acidity and alkalinity

Auricularia auricula is suitable to live in a slightly acidic environment. The mycelium could grow normally in the range of pH 4-7, and pH 5-6. 5 was the most suitable.

Generally speaking, in order to cultivate Auricularia auricula, it is necessary to match the ingredients and control the basic requirements such as humidity, temperature, light and so on.
