Chrysanthemum is a kind of flower that has been very popular with people since ancient times. Many people will plant chrysanthemum, so how many ways can chrysanthemum reproduce? Let's take a look.

I. Cuttage propagation

The cutting time is determined according to the characteristics of the variety and local climatic conditions. Cut off pest-free, robust new branches as cuttings, cuttings 10-13 cm long, seedling bed should be flat, suitable temperature 15-18 ℃, soil should not be too dry or too wet. When cutting, remove all the leaves within 5cm from the lower end of the cuttings, retain the upper leaves, and insert the cuttings into the soil 5cm to 7cm deep. The top of the soil exposed about 3 cm, watered, covered with a layer of straw, about 20 days to take root.

2. Separate plant propagation

When the chrysanthemum is too luxuriant, it can be propagated by ramets, usually around the Qingming Festival, which is the most suitable time. It can also be combined with changing pots for ramet. First of all, pour out the chrysanthemum with the root, remove the soil from the root, let it stretch naturally, and then divide it according to the natural form. If you want to disinfect the divided knife, it is best to split it with one knife.

3. Striping propagation

On cloudy and rainy days. For the first time, before and after Lesser Heat (first ten days of July), the branches of chrysanthemums were crushed, covered with wet mud every 10 centimeters, and the tips were beaten off, so that new branches were pulled out from the axils of the sharp leaves, and the second time around Greater Heat (late July), the newly drawn branches were overwhelmed with the same method as the first time, and the mature human feces and urine were applied once, and topped at the End of Heat (late August).

IV. Sowing and propagation

Sowing and propagation is generally suitable for the cultivation of new varieties. After the chrysanthemum is harvested in October-December of each year, the chrysanthemum is sown in the spring of the following year. First sow the seeds evenly on the substrate, then cover the soil with 2-3 times the thickness of the seeds, cover with cling film, place at about 20 degrees, and germinate in about two weeks.

5. Grafting propagation

If you want chrysanthemums to grow more luxuriantly, you can reproduce by grafting. Artemisia annua can be grafted successfully, preferably in a greenhouse in winter, or in a hotbed in spring and March.
