Cultivation techniques of apricot trees

Apricot tree is a deciduous tree of Rosaceae, its fruit is one of the common fruits, wood is one of the furniture materials, leaves can be used as feed, planted all over the world, then its cultivation techniques have what, let's understand it together.

Cultivation techniques of apricot tree

1. Selection of land and varieties

Apricot is a positive tree species with strong adaptability, deep roots, light, drought resistance, cold resistance, wind resistance and life span of more than 100 years. It is the main cultivated fruit tree in low mountain and hilly areas. Suitable for planting in deep soil layer, good drainage of sandy loam. According to the different regions, different cultivars are selected, such as crystal apricot in Beijing, Daxiang white apricot in Hebei, Dayu apricot in Licheng, Shandong, Lanzhou and so on.

2. planted

According to the specifications of plant spacing 1.5m× 4m, hole length 1m × width 1m × depth 0.8m, dig holes for bedding, and apply about 10kg decomposed organic fertilizer to each hole. The seedlings were planted according to grade. Seedlings into the hole, buried 1/3 when the seedlings will be lifted up, so that the roots fully stretch, and then add soil solid. After planting, the tree hole is irrigated with permeable water and settled.

3. fertilizer and water

When the new shoots grow to about 15 cm, quick-acting fertilizer is applied, and underground topdressing and foliar fertilizer are alternately applied. Organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer are applied from the end of September to the beginning of October. After the canopy is closed, urea is applied before germination, potassium sulfate compound fertilizer is applied after flowering to fruit expansion stage, urea and potassium dihydrogen phosphate are sprayed for 10-15 days, and 500-fold yield-increasing bacteria can be sprayed simultaneously. After seedling planting, irrigate water once, and then determine the watering amount and watering time according to the specific situation.

4. pruning

Pruning should be determined according to the tree condition. Generally, young trees and early fruiting trees should be pruned in winter according to both shaping and fruiting; trees in full fruiting period should be pruned according to the growth of branches and the spatial conditions of various parts of crown; and trees in senescence period should be mainly promoted to germinate and renew hidden buds.

In addition, in different periods in advance to do a good job of pest control, such as July boat caterpillar, brown spot disease and so on.
