Nearly 90% of the autumn harvest in the country, nearly 80% of the winter wheat is sown.

Since autumn this year, the weather in most parts of the country has been fine, the temperature is relatively high, and the moisture content is suitable, which is conducive to autumn grain harvest and drying and wheat and rape sowing. At present, nearly 90% of the autumn harvest, nearly 80% of winter wheat sowing and 70% of winter rape sowing have been carried out nationwide.

According to the agricultural situation dispatch of the Ministry of Agriculture, as of October 29, the national autumn grain harvest has been 87.5%, the progress is 2.5 percentage points slower than the same period last year. Among them, medium rice (one-season rice) has received 84.8%, 2.2 percentage points slower than the same period last year; corn has received 93.4%, 4.3 percentage points slower than the same period last year; soybean has received 94.5%, 3.0 percentage points slower than the same period last year; double-season late rice has received 43.4%, 2.9 percentage points slower than the same period last year. By region, 97.0% was completed in Southwest China, 97.3% in Northwest China, 88.1% in Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, with the same progress as the same period last year; 91.8% was completed in Northeast China, 5.5% slower than the same period last year, mainly due to the delay of frost period this year, fine weather, drying of corn stalks and general delay of harvest period.

At present, most of the northern dry crop wheat has been sown and some have emerged; the southern rice crop wheat has been sown for six consecutive years. As of October 29, 79.1% of winter wheat had been sown nationwide, 1 percentage point slower than the same period last year. 74.4% of winter rape has been sown nationwide, 3.6% slower than the same period last year.
