I. Land preparation

The leek seedling land should be easy to drain and irrigate. The sandy loam or clay soil where onion and garlic vegetables have not been planted in the past 1 or 2 years should be ploughed deeply before winter, poured with frozen water, and ploughed at the top of the next spring to preserve soil moisture. 40.5 cubic meters of rotten farm manure is applied per mu. 2. Raising seedlings

The growth of leek seedlings is slow, so it should be sowed early, and it is suitable to sow from late March to late April. After soaking seeds to promote germination, sowing was sowed in the seedling bed by wet sowing method, covering the soil twice, covering a layer of thin soil at the first time, and then covering the soil for the second time after returning to moisture. The total thickness of the covered soil was 2 cm, and the amount of seeds used per mu was 60.8 kg. Generally, 1 mu of seedlings can be planted in 7-9 mu of vegetable fields.

Third, fertilizer and water

The leek seedlings are about 5 cm high and lightly watered to loosen the soil in time. After 10 cm, it can be combined with watering to apply rotten manure or urea for 2 times, and crystal trichlorfon 0.5 kg per mu can be applied with water to kill leek maggots and other pests. Control irrigation after the seedling is 15 cm high to prevent overgrowth and lodging. Weeds should be pulled out in time, and the mu should be controlled with 0.5 kg 0.75 kg 25% herbicide ether when the seedling height is about 12 cm, or 0.15 kg 33% EC spray should be used to treat the surface before seedling emergence after sowing.

IV. Colonization

Leek planting selected soil fertile land convenient for drainage and irrigation, mu application of rotten farm manure 4-5 cubic meters, leveling the border. The border is 2-3 meters wide, with a group of 3 borders, with a 1-meter-wide cold belt on the north side. Transplant from late June to early July, cut off the end of the fibrous root before planting, and cut the bulbs into small handfuls. The row spacing is 13-20 cm, the hole spacing is 10-15 cm, and each hole is 6-8 plants. When planting, it is appropriate not to bury the leaf sheath, be steadfast after planting and water it in time.

V. Management

After the new leaves of leek are issued, the seedlings should be watered slowly, and the soil moisture should be preserved by ploughing to keep the soil dry and wet. After autumn, when the leek is growing at its most exuberant, it is necessary to fully supply fertilizer and water. After that, the temperature decreases gradually, and the plant grows slowly, so as to keep the surface dry. Leek needs medium light intensity and strong negative tolerance. But the light is too weak, the accumulation of photosynthate is less, the tiller is few and thin, the yield is low, and it is easy to senescence prematurely. The light is too strong, the temperature is too high, there are many fibers, and the quality is poor.

VI. Harvest

The yield of leek was lower in the first 1-2 years after planting, the peak growth period was 3-6 years, and the yield was the highest. When it entered the senescence stage after 10 years, it should be planted in time. The number of harvests each year depends on the growth of leeks, fertilization and the market situation. The standard of cutting leeks with 7 leaves and 1 heart is the best in the early morning, and it is advisable to cut to the yellow leaf sheath of 3-4 cm on the bulb. After that, each knife should be slightly higher than that of the previous stubble to ensure normal growth.
