The cultivation of rice in China has a long history, and it has been planted in many parts of the country, but the sowing time of rice is also different in different areas, so when will rice be sown in Northeast China?

When will rice be sown in Northeast China

The rice planted in Northeast China is early-maturing single-cropping rice, which is generally sown in the middle and first ten days of April every year, and the specific sowing time is based on the local climate. The rice-growing areas of precocious single-cropping rice in Northeast China are located in Liaodong Peninsula, north of the Great Wall and east of Daxing'an Mountains.

In other words, the northeast precocious single cropping rice growing area includes 184 counties (banners and cities), including Heihe, Jiquan, most of Liaoning and northeastern Inner Mongolia, and there are also two subregions: the extra precocious sub-region of the Jilin plain and the Liaohe coastal plain. The local rice area accounts for only 3% of the country.

Cold injury often occurs in the northern region. The safe growth period of rice is about 100-120 days. During the growth period, the sunshine was 1000-1300 hours, and the precipitation was 300,600mm.

II. Rice planting techniques in Northeast China

1. Pre-processing

According to the local climate, the excellent varieties with high yield, high quality and resistance to diseases and insect pests, such as Yanjing 47 and Liaoxing 1, should be selected, and then the rice should be dried, and then soaked with Ziling or Shizhongqing for disinfection.

2. Sowing seeds

The suitable seedling land was selected and sowed according to the standard of sowing wet seed amount 200g/m. The mechanical transplanting seedlings were raised with plastic floppy disk or plastic hard disk, and the sowing amount was 125g per plate. The seeds were covered with soil and closed to kill weeds.

Special attention should be paid to timely ventilation and cooling in case of high temperature weather to prevent high temperature seedling burning. In the seedling stage, according to the occurrence of diseases and insect pests, suitable pesticides are selected to control diseases and insect pests in the seedling stage, prevent the introduction of diseases and insect pests into the field, and reduce the incidence of field diseases and insect pests.

3. Transplanting rice seedlings

The land is leveled before transplanting, and then the compound fertilizer of 35% nitrogen, 100% phosphorus and 50% potassium fertilizer is applied to transplant rice when the daily average temperature is stable at 15 ℃.

4. Fertilization and watering

According to the growth of rice, reasonable fertilization and watering were carried out, usually twice, once after slow seedling and once at booting stage, and the proportion of fertilization was urea 10~15kg/667m, phosphate fertilizer 15~20kg/667m, potassium fertilizer 4~5kg/667m and zinc sulfate 1.5kg/667m.

5. Pest control

During the growth of rice, we also need to carry out pest control, we must find it in time, prescribe the right medicine, and select pesticides with high efficiency, low toxicity and no residue to ensure the healthy growth of rice seedlings and the high yield of rice harvest.
