Potato, also known as potato, potato, is a common vegetable in life, almost every family has grown, how to grow potato?

I. selection of sites

Choose plots that are good for drainage and plenty of sunlight, and then apply some base fertilizer, potash or plant ash. Be careful not to plant potatoes in the land that has been planted for two years, so that it is easy to live.

Second, accelerating budding

Potatoes to be planted at the end of December or January are placed at a temperature to sprout so that they can be planted around February.

Third, cut open

Cut the sprouted potatoes into pieces and make sure there are 2 or 3 bud holes on each piece. Apply some plant ash to the wound in time after the incision.

IV. Planting

After the potatoes are treated, they can be planted. When planting, you can dig a shallow trench in the land and put the pieces into them. The distance between the two pieces is about 15 cm. There is no need to water or fertilize after planting. If you apply fertilizer, you can apply some potash fertilizer appropriately. Do not use urea or human or animal manure, otherwise it will affect the taste.

5. Field management technology

The main results are as follows: (1) Fertilizer requirements: fertilization is mainly high-quality organic fertilizer, which can be combined with three-element chemical fertilizer. Generally, each mu of land uses high-quality organic fertilizer 2000-3500 kg, urea 12 kg, calcium superphosphate 20 Mel 30 kg, plant ash 150-200 kg or potassium chloride 10 kg 15 kg. The above-mentioned fertilizers and organic fertilizers were evenly mixed together and applied as base fertilizer in the soil layer below 10 cm, which could loosen the tuber layer and facilitate the absorption of potato roots.

(2) Disease and pest control: aphids, grubs and other diseases and insect pests will appear during the growth of potato. Among them, aphids can be controlled with 2.5% bifenthrin EC or 10% permethrin wettable powder, such as spraying with 1500 times of 70% aphid pine, washing powder can be added to melt the wax secreted by aphids, and the effect is better; during the migration period, the yellow board can be coated with engine oil. Grubs can be sprayed with 1500 times of 50% phoxim emulsion before turning the soil; organic base fertilizer should be thoroughly mature before application; pay attention to crop rotation; grub serious plots can be watered twice, which is simple and effective.

VI. Harvest

Potatoes grow almost without deliberate fertilization and watering, so they are very easy to grow and can be harvested in May or June after they are planted in February.
