1. Soil culture methods:

1. Flowerpot selection: rich bamboo pots can be cultivated in muddy flowerpots, plastic pots, porcelain pots and pottery pots. Phyllostachys pubescens can be planted in a basin with a diameter of 24 cm.

2. Preparation of potted soil: Fugui bamboo is suitable for growing in fertile soil rich in humus. The formula for general family soil is as follows: garden soil: rotten leaf soil = 5RU 5; peat soil: rotten leaf soil: sand = 6:3:1.

3. Temperature: if it is cultivated in a warmer place, there is basically no need to worry, it can grow all year round. However, if the altitude or latitude is high, you need to pay attention, especially when it comes to winter. When the temperature begins to drop at the end of autumn, you must guard against the cold.

4. Lighting: it is best to put it in a place where there is scattered light, not too overcast, nor be directed by light. In summer, if you feel the light is too strong, you should also shade properly.

5. Fertilizer: when the plant begins to take root, apply a small amount of compound fertilizer so that its leaves will have luster. In addition, a small amount of nutrient solution can be applied every three weeks.

6. Rich bamboo is not a water-loving plant, so in the process of planting, one or two attention should be paid to the control of water. In summer, because the weather is hot, it needs to be watered once a day. If it is winter, it is recommended to irrigate it once a week or so, not too frequently.

2. Methods of hydroponics:

1. Select containers: according to the form of water culture and the length of materials and other forms, select the corresponding containers, such as modeling water culture to choose shallow flowerpots. When the requirement of plant aquaculture is not high, the wine bottles and beverage bottles around you can also be used.

2. Aquaculture of potted plants: take out the potted plants with roots, wash them, cut off part of the old roots and residual roots and raise them directly in water.

3. Water insertion of branches: cut the mature branches that grow well, cut the base of the cuttings slightly into an oblique edge with a sharp knife, the knife edge should be smooth, in order to increase the absorption area of water and nutrients, and insert the basal leaves into the bottle, the water can be submerged into the base 1-2 cm deep, and the silver-white fibrous root can grow in about 15 days.

4. Single-branch and multi-branch water culture: when single-branch water culture, the bottle mouth should not be too large, the bottle height is about 1/3 of the branch height; when multi-branch water culture, the bottle mouth should be large, cut the branches into the same length, and obliquely inserted with the bottle to form a geometric composition.

5. Modeling aquaculture: when the rich bamboo is still a young plant, it can be made into various shapes by twisting branches and bending branches, and the shape can be maintained after maturity. The mature stem has strong sprouting and rooting ability, can be cut of different lengths, shaped into a tower by binding process, etc., which is called Kaiyunzhu on the market. Select a shallow basin slightly larger than the stem of the tower, place the tower, and add clean water to slightly flood its basal node.
