Black tiger is a kind of vine, its fruit can be eaten after ripening, the taste is relatively sweet, and now many people like to eat it. The planting area of the black tiger in our country is not large, what are its breeding methods?

Breeding method of black tiger

1. Seed propagation

The seedlings sown and propagated have strong root ability and fast growth speed, but the possibility of variation is also large, which can not guarantee the quality. After harvesting, the seeds are stored in wet sand to prevent water evaporation and reduce the germination rate. Then sow in spring, apply sufficient base fertilizer on the soil before sowing, do border shaping, and control the plant row distance to dig holes and sow seeds. Put about two seeds in each sowing hole, cover the fine soil after sowing, and then cover the plastic film to improve the soil moisture conservation capacity. After emergence, it is necessary to remove the plastic film in time, grow three true leaves after a seedling, five true leaves fixed seedlings. Do the work of weeding by ploughing and topdressing once a month or so.

2. Grafting propagation

Grafting is the most commonly used breeding method for black tigers. Budding is mainly introduced here. When the rootstock is about 8 centimeters off the ground, cut a 3-centimeter incision, and then cut the outer skin of the incision in half. Cut the bud from bottom to top, and the length is controlled at about 2.5 cm. Then insert the leaf into the incision, tie it tightly and clip it with a grafting clip to expose the leaf bud. About a week or so, the bud is fresh and the petiole is loose, which means that it has survived. If there is no survival, then timely repair, 2-3 weeks after the removal of some leaves and vines to promote the growth of buds.

3. Cuttage propagation

Cut off the sturdy, disease-and pest-free branches every spring and cut them into cuttings of about 12 centimeters, with about 4 bud holes on each cuttage, retaining the top leaf and cutting off the extra leaves. Then cut off the oblique, the larger the wound area, the greater the rooting rate. The incision should be smooth, and then soak the incision with rooting agent for about half an hour to improve the rooting rate. After ploughing and preparing the seedling land and applying basic fertilizer, the cuttings were obliquely inserted into the seedbed, the lateral buds were wet, and then the soil was compacted and watered enough to improve the contact area between cuttings and soil. To do a good job of weeding during rooting, it is necessary to apply fertilizer properly after rooting, mainly with more and a small amount, so as to prevent the death of cuttings caused by excessive dosage.

The breeding method of the black tiger is briefly introduced here, and we still need to choose according to the actual situation when carrying on the actual operation.
