How to plant jujube seeds

Prepare pest-free, full-grained, high-quality seeds. Soak the seeds in warm water overnight, remove them, cover them with a wet cloth, rinse with warm water four times a day, and sow most of them after germination. The planting land should be ploughed, applied base fertilizer and dug ditches, ditch distance 65cm, ditch depth 10cm. After filling the ditch with water, the seeds were sown into the soil, the 20cm spacing was maintained, and the ditch was filled after planting. The Propagation methods of Jujube

1. Cutting

Generally, strong branches are selected as cuttings and cut off to dry cut. After that, the branches are inserted into the prepared wet sand bed, and the subsequent maintenance is carried out to wait for the branches to take root.

2. Grafting

Jujube grafting has skin grafting, bud grafting, split grafting, ventral grafting and so on. When grafting, first leave a notch on the rootstock that can be grafted, then insert the branches ready for grafting into the incision, and wrap the grafting place of the incision with plastic film, so that it can be successfully grafted and germinated in the environment of heat preservation and moisture preservation.

3. Root insertion

In autumn, a root ear with diameter 3cm and long 25cm was selected from the jujube tree and preserved in the sand in the cellar. In spring, the roots and ears were treated with rooting hormone, then they were obliquely inserted into the dug ditch to expose only the 2cm on the ground, then watered and covered with plastic film to make them take root and sprout.

4. Cut off the root

Before the jujube tree crown, dig the ditch around the 35cm*50cm around the crown. Then cut off the root of the jujube tree whose diameter is less than 2cm, apply organic fertilizer to the trench where the root is broken, and then dig it out and deal with it after it grows out of the root and tiller seedlings, and then plant it.

5. Tissue culture

First, the shoots and stems of rapid propagation in vitro were selected and cultured in culture room and culture medium. After the test tube plantlets were cultured on rooting medium for 20 days, they were cultured in solar greenhouse for 10 days. After opening the bottle cork to refine the seedlings for 3 days, and then transplanting the seedlings on the sterilized seedling bed, tissue culture propagation could be realized successfully.
