In general, wild orchids dug up from the mountains are worthless, but if they are properly maintained and the flowers are equally good-looking, how to raise wild orchids?

First, pre-planting care: wild orchids that have just been collected or bought are put in a cool place in time to avoid heat and burn out. If it is not planted in the basin for the time being, it can be laid flat on the land and temporarily buried in wet sand and fluvo-aquic soil, and water can be sprayed appropriately on the leaf surface when it is dry.

Second, remove impurities and disinfection: prune the plants on the false bulbs, rotten empty roots and leaves infected with diseases and insect pests, wash them with clean water, and then sprinkle the whole grass with 0.2% potassium permanganate or "mansen zinc", "carbendazim" and "topurazine" after drying.

Third, the preparation of basin soil: the basin soil is better with mountain base soil, bamboo root mud, mountain red soil and mountain depression gray-black topsoil, and can also be mixed with some river sand. It is better if it can be sterilized by steam and sunlight exposure.

4. Careful cultivation: wild orchids newly introduced into the pot should be put indoors for maintenance until the new roots grow until 5~10cm is removed from the outside, and do a good job of temperature control, air permeability, moisturizing and so on.

Fifth, extra-root supplies: wild orchid seedlings after collection, transportation, planting pruning, scarred appearance, in fact, is semi-dehydrated. In order to promote its growth recovery, we can dilute 250 times of rice vinegar with "potassium dihydrogen phosphate" 1200-1500 times per week or add 100,200 micrograms of B12 per 25 jin of fertilizer water and 20 grams of urea spray to make extra-root topdressing on the leaf surface. Cut off the fallen leaves and kill bacteria and insects in time. When the new buds grow to 5~10cm, they can be managed like ripe grass.
