Golden cauliflower is rich in nutrition, is a very high-quality forage, can also be used as green manure, as well as edible value and medicinal value. So how to grow golden cauliflower? Let's take a look.

First, cultivation time

It is mainly divided into spring cultivation and autumn cultivation, and autumn cultivation is the most. Autumn cultivation was sown in batches from late July to late September and was harvested and listed one after another from mid-August to late March of the following year. Spring cultivation sowed from late February to early June and harvested from early April to late July.

2. Soil preparation and sowing

Golden cauliflower is usually ploughed about 15cm, combined with ploughing every 667m2, human and animal feces and urine 1000kg are applied as base fertilizer, and 20cm high border is made. The border width is 1.5m to facilitate drainage, and then the border surface is leveled before sowing. Cauliflower is sown in many rows. The sowing rate should be determined with the season. Generally, when sowing in early autumn and late spring, the air temperature is higher, the soil is dry, the seedling emergence rate is low, and the sowing rate is more. In order to avoid irregular emergence, seed selection should be carried out before sowing to reduce the shrunken seeds and bad seeds in pods.

Third, fertilizer and water

After sowing, the soil should be watered once a day in the morning and evening to maintain sufficient soil moisture. Especially when sowing in early autumn and late spring, continuous water should be used before seedling emergence, seedling emergence 4-5 days after sowing, watering once a day after seedling emergence, and watering can be stopped after 6-7 days. Apply 0.5% urea solution or thinly mature human urine on the second day after harvest after each harvest after the emergence of 2 true leaves, and it is easy to cause decay if topdressing immediately. Rain Water should pay attention to drainage after heavy rain and for a long time in spring.

IV. Pest control

The main diseases and insect pests of golden cauliflower are virus diseases, aphids and small tigers. Virus diseases occur more often from July to September. After the injury of cauliflower, the leaves are small and wrinkled, and the growth is weak and poor. After September, the climate turned cool and the disease disappeared. Aphids can be harmed in April-May and October-November with 40% dimethoate 800 times or 50% aldicarb 2000-3000 times. In the fields where cauliflower is planted, there are the most small tigers, but they are not easy to detect, and there is usually no control, mainly because the following crops cannot be arranged for spring eggplant fruits, otherwise there are too many missing roots and it is difficult to replenish seedlings.

V. Harvest

When harvesting golden cauliflower, the stubble should be short and neat, especially in the first harvest, we must grasp the principle of low peace, so as to make it easy to harvest and increase the yield. Sowing in early autumn, harvesting begins about 25 days later, can be harvested 4 times, sowing in late autumn, only 3 times, sowing in early spring, 3 times, sowing in late spring, harvesting from early July to late July, harvesting 2 times.

The adaptability of cauliflower is relatively strong, suitable for most of the environment, and the requirements for the soil are not strict, so it is a very good cultivated plant.
