Li Bai, a famous poet, once wrote: "from a distance, the duck's head of the Han River is green, just like the fermented grains of grapes." Grapes have been people's favorite fruit since ancient times. So where is the origin of the grapes?

Grapes are native to Europe, West Asia and North Africa. According to archaeological data, the earliest areas where grapes were cultivated were between the Caspian Sea of Asia minor and the Black Sea and their southern coast. Grape cultivation also began in the South Caucasus, Central Asia, Syria, Iraq and other regions about 7000 years ago. Most historians believe that Persia (present-day Iran) was the first country to make wine. Greece was the first country in Europe to start growing grapes and making wine.
