Fujian grapefruit producing area

Fujian grapefruit is produced in Pinghe County of Zhangzhou City and Xianyou County of Putian City. Among them, Pinghe County of Zhangzhou City mainly produces Guanxi honey pomelo, which is a geographical indication protection product. Wendan pomelo is mainly produced in Xianyou County, Putian City, which has good quality, fragrant smell, mellow tender juice, moderate sweetness and sour, seedless, refreshing fragrance and unique flavor.

Guanxi honey pomelo

The pericarp of Guanxi honey pomelo is orange and yellow in color, rich in aroma, thin in skin, seedless in flesh and white as jade in color. Guanxi honey pomelo is an ideal natural health food. Wendan pomelo, one of the four famous fruits of Putian in Fujian Province, China, is a unique precious fruit in Duwei Town, Xianyou County, and a Chinese geographical indication product. the fruit has good quality, fragrant smell, mellow meat juice, moderate sweetness and sour, seedless, refreshing fragrance and unique flavor. Wu Dengqing and a famous opera troupe of Putian Immortals in the county were successfully cultivated together, and their identities were named "Wendan pomelo", and then the seedlings were raised and passed on to the neighboring village by high-pressure method. In November 1984, Li Xiannian, the then president, visited Fujian and named it "Duwei seedless pomelo" after tasting it. It contains naringin, neo-orange glycoside, carotene, vitamin B, nicotinic acid, calcium, phosphorus, iron, volatile oil, sugar and insulin. It has the effects of anti-inflammation and relieving cough, lowering blood pressure and lowering blood sugar.
