First, sowing seeds

Choose the appropriate sowing time for sowing, generally sowing from August to October every year, and the sowing time is different in different areas.

The seeds were sown from early September to late October in North China, from mid-August to early September in Northeast China, and at the end of October in Henan.

Due to the different climatic environment, the growth period of parsley varies from 5 to 7 months after sowing.

2. Cultivation

After emergence, the seedlings were interspersed, watered and covered with cold protection according to the appropriate density.

1. Interseedling: after emergence, the seedling should be about 3 cm apart.

2, watering: generally do not water before overwintering, to promote deep roots, when there are 5-6 leaves, watering once. Before freezing, some areas set up windproof barriers or ground cover to make it safe to survive the winter and harvest early. Immediately seal the frozen water when the soil freezes at night and separate during the day, and apply ternary compound fertilizer or diammonium 10-15 kg.

1. Open field cultivation

It is not suitable to water too much at seedling stage. When the seedling grows to 10 cm, the plant grows vigorously and should be watered frequently to keep the soil surface moist. At the same time of watering, the available nitrogen fertilizer was applied 1 or 2 times. Pay attention to ploughing and proper interseedling, and remove weeds during interseedling. Summer should be properly shaded, and prevent rainstorm erosion, timely drainage after rain to ensure neat emergence of seedlings.

2. Cultivation in greenhouse

Pour frozen water once before winter to facilitate the seedlings to survive the winter. Buckle the shed in January and there is no need for ventilation from January to February. When the seedlings turn green, ploughing, loosening the soil and weeding are carried out. When the seedling height was 10 cm, the plant entered the vigorous growth period, and the greenhouse was kept at 15 ℃ to 25 ℃. About 15 kilograms of ammonium sulfate per mu, topdressing 1 to 2 times, can be harvested in advance.
