There are many kinds of edible fungi, such as Auricularia auricula, Lentinus edodes, Pleurotus ostreatus and so on. Because of their smooth taste and high nutritional value, they are loved by consumers. Planting edible fungi is the same as growing vegetables, it will be fertilized in order to increase the amount of mushrooms in the later stage. What are the key points of fertilizing edible fungi?

Point 1: attention should be paid to the method of adding fertilizer to edible fungi.

The method of adding nutrient solution of edible fungus can be divided into spraying, soaking and burrowing. Let's take a look at the main points of the three. Spraying should be determined according to the growth time of the fruiting body. Generally, it can be sprayed when a large number of fruiting bodies are produced. Do not spray directly against the fruiting bodies to avoid side effects. Spraying is not recommended for young mushroom buds, mushrooms that have just passed, spraying when the humidity is too high, and spraying nutrient solution when the mushroom is attacked by diseases and insect pests.

If you soak the nutrient solution, it is generally used for edible fungi planted in bags. After the first or second tide mushrooms are harvested, if there is a serious shortage of water in the mushroom bag, you can soak the nutrient solution for a while until it returns to its original weight. Remember, do not soak for too long. If the bag loses too much water, it can be soaked several times.

Irrigation method is generally used on the bacteria bed, if there are more fungi on the bacteria bed, and the loss of water and nutrients is too large, you can use the irrigation method. The specific method of operation is to punch the bacterial bed at a certain distance, then infiltrate the configured nutrient solution into the bacterial bed, and finally cover it with soil.

Point 2: the nutrition collocation of nutrient solution should be reasonable.

The use of edible fungi is not a single use of nutrient solution, but the selection of several combinations, which is helpful for the growth of fruiting bodies and more comprehensive nutrition.

Point 3: the concentration of nutrient solution should be appropriate.

If the concentration of nutrient solution used by edible fungi is too high, it will lead to difficulty in breathing of the hyphae, seriously affect the normal growth of the hyphae or directly damage the hyphae. When the concentration of the nutrient solution is too low, the nutrients of the mycelium are not enough and the natural growth is not good. Therefore, if a certain concentration of nutrient solution is added to edible fungus, it should be determined according to the water content of its culture material. If the water content is relatively high, it can appropriately increase the concentration of the nutrient solution, and if the water content is relatively low, it can reduce the concentration of the nutrient solution.

Point 4: use nutrient solution according to the change of environment

If the temperature is more than 20 degrees Celsius, it is very difficult for the mycelium of edible fungi to grow into a good fruiting body. Of course, except for some high-temperature varieties of edible fungi, there is no need to add additional nutrient solution at this time. If the culture material is infected by bacteria, get rid of the bacteria before using the nutrient solution.
