The effect of methamidophos
Methamidophos, commonly known as methamidophos, is a highly toxic pesticide, so what is the role of methamidophos?
I. introduction of methamidophos
Methamidophos, commonly known as methamidophos, is an organophosphorus compound, white needle-like crystals, soluble in water; alcohols, more soluble in chloroform, benzene, ether, in toluene; and less than 10% solubility in xylene. It is not hydrolyzed quickly in weak acid or weak alkaline medium, but easily hydrolyzed in strong alkaline solution.
Methamidophos is commonly used as a pesticide, but it has been banned in Japan and other countries because of its strong toxicity. Chinese mainland has also been suspended from production and use since 2008.
In addition to methamidophos, China has also stopped the production, circulation and use of parathion, methyl parathion, monocrotophos and phosphoramines.
II. The role of methamidophos
It is a broad-spectrum insecticide for the control of cotton red spiders, mites and aphids, and has a certain control effect on drug-resistant pests.
The specific usage is as follows:
1. 50% EC can effectively control cotton aphids, cotton bollworm, cotton red spiders, cotton thrips, rice planthoppers, rice borer, peanut aphids, soybean borer, fruit tree aphids and red spiders, wheat aphids and red spiders and wheat aphids by spraying 1000 times (50~100ml to water 50~57kg per mu).
2. To control corn borer, water 100~125kg was perfused with 50ml per mu.
3. Seed dressing with a seed dose of 1 stroke 500 can control underground pests, ground tigers, grubs and mole crickets.
4. When a large number of rice planthopper and stem borer occur, 100~125ml is used to pour water 300kg per mu.
However, short-term exposure to methamidophos (oral, inhaled, skin, mucous membrane) causes a large number of acute poisoning, so protective measures must be taken in the process of use.
