Eggplant is a kind of vegetable that many people like to eat, originated in tropical Asia, and now it is grown in many parts of our country, so what disease is it easy to get from growing eggplant?

1. Fusarium wilt

Also known as blight, is a plant disease caused by fungi or bacteria. Fusarium wilt occurs suddenly, with symptoms including severe spots, wilting or death of leaves, flowers, fruits, stems or whole plants.

The prevention and control methods are as follows:

Soak the seeds with 0.1% copper sulfate (5 minutes) for disinfection, wash and accelerate germination. At the initial stage of the disease, carbendazim or methyl thiophanate suspension can be sprayed. In addition, 12.5% carbendazim solution can be used to irrigate the root.

2. Brown streak

The main manifestation is that the disease spot of the leaf begins to be a water-stained spot, gradually develops into a brown wheel pattern, the edge is gray-white with small black spots, the disease spot on the stem is diamond-shaped, the disease spot on the fruit also shows a small black spot, and the disease area changes from yellow to brown.

The prevention and control methods are as follows:

In addition to the selection of disease-resistant varieties, drug control can be used in production on the basis of strengthening ventilation and light transmission and reducing population humidity. Drugs usually use 1500 times of prohydantoin, 47% plus Renong 600times, 70% methyltophan 600times, 50% carbendazim 600times, 64% poison alum or 58% Redomiol (metalaxyl mancozeb) 1000 times.

3. Verticillium wilt

Most of the symptoms occurred after fruit setting, and symptoms appeared in the lower middle of the plant. In the early stage of the disease, they wilted in sunny days, recovered sooner or later, and did not recover after the disease was serious. Some turn yellow from one side of the branches and leaves, open the diseased roots, stems and branches, and the vascular bundles turn dark brown.

The prevention and control methods are as follows:

At the initial stage of the disease, 77% carbendazim, 50% carbendazim and 2000 times carbendazim can be used to irrigate the root, once every 10 days, for 2-3 times in a row. In serious cases, the diseased plant should be removed and quicklime should be sprinkled at the pull-out site to prevent bacteria from spreading through watering.

4. Bacterial wilt

It is a worldwide disease widely distributed in tropical, subtropical and some temperate regions, and is a soil-borne disease.

The methods of prevention and control are as follows: selecting disease-resistant varieties, or using flood-drought rotation, or using drugs after transplantation or in the event of disease.

The drugs were mainly filled with 4000-fold solution of 80% Dysen zinc or Cobo, 72% of agricultural streptomycin or 77% of streptomycin for 2-3 times.

5. Cataplexy

It occurs at the seedling stage, the seedlings are watery near the base of the soil surface, and then shrink into a linear shape, the cotyledons have not withered, and the seedlings have fallen to the surface.

Prevention and control methods are: pay attention to more ventilation, light transmission, less watering, can also use 58% Ruidu 800-1000 times, prohydantoin 1500 times, 72.2% prednisone 600 times to control.
