1. Rinse with clean water

Most chemicals are not resistant to water scouring. If the pesticide concentration is too high, you can wash the stems and leaves repeatedly with a sprayer filled with water (preferably within 6 hours after application) to flush away the chemicals left on the surface of the plant and reduce the damage; when flushing, the air pressure of the sprayer should be sufficient and the amount of water sprayed should be large.

2. Attack poison with poison

Potassium permanganate is a kind of strong oxidant, which can oxidize and decompose many kinds of chemical substances. According to the experiment, when the drug damage occurred in watermelon or found that the drug was not used properly, spraying potassium permanganate 5000-7000 times immediately could alleviate the drug damage.

3. Suspension of medication

Before the drug damage is completely eliminated, the use of chemical pesticides, especially similar pesticides, should be reduced as far as possible, and should be stopped so as not to aggravate the drug damage.

4. Strengthen the management

After the occurrence of drug damage to watermelon, combined with watering to properly supplement some available chemical fertilizer, and then ploughing and loosening the soil can promote the plant to return to normal growth and development as soon as possible.

5. Other methods

It can also be combined with root fertilization and watering, and foliar spraying of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to improve plant nutritional status and enhance root absorption capacity. The method is as follows: 1 kg of high-quality calcium superphosphate, 40-50 kg of water, soaking for one day and night, taking the supernatant to spray watermelon stems and leaves, or using Fengshou No. 1 1000 times liquid foliar spray and 800th liquid to irrigate the root; plus 0.2-0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution spraying 50 kg per mu; spraying 1.8% Aishi 6000 times solution outside the root (or a sprayer into half a bag) is also conducive to the normal growth and development of the plant.

Watermelons are very sensitive to many pesticides, such as the occurrence of drug damage, we should take some remedial measures in time, so as to reduce the harm of watermelons.
