1. Location of poisonous mushrooms

Poisonous mushrooms generally grow in woodland, on the ground with weeds and other rotten organic matter, cattle and horses and other animal dung, and most of them like the dark and humid environment. There are about 100 kinds of poisonous mushrooms in China, and different varieties have different growth positions.

2. Gastrointestinal reaction, which is a common type of poisoning. The incubation period of poisoning is relatively short, and it usually occurs in 10 minutes to 6 hours after eating. The main manifestations are acute nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, watery diarrhea, or accompanied by dizziness, headache and general fatigue. Generally, the course of disease is short, the recovery is fast, the prognosis is good, and the number of deaths is very few. But in severe cases, there will be hematemesis, dehydration, electrolyte disorders, coma, as well as acute liver and kidney failure and death.

3. There are symptoms of hemolysis. The incubation period of this kind of poisoning is long, and it usually occurs at 6-12 hours after eating. In addition to nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain or headache, restlessness and other diseases, hemolysis symptoms can occur quickly due to the massive destruction of red blood cells by toxins within one or two days. The main manifestations are acute anemia, jaundice, hemoglobinuria, hepatomegaly and splenomegaly. Sometimes after hemolysis can cause kidney damage, the emergence of proteinuria, hematuria, and even secondary uremia and other critical symptoms.

4. White umbrella poisoning mainly causes liver damage, and umbellin directly acts on the nucleus of the liver, causing rapid cell necrosis, which is one of the important causes of death.

5. In many cases, poisonous mushroom poisoning can cause respiratory and circulatory failure. The main symptoms were toxic myocarditis, acute renal failure and respiratory paralysis, the pupils were slightly dilated, but there was no coma, no parasympathetic excitatory symptoms, no jaundice and hepatomegaly, and the liver function examination was generally normal.

6. Some people mistakenly take poisonous mushrooms will appear photosensitive dermatitis, and their toxins are porphyrins. After the toxin is absorbed, the cells are more sensitive to sunlight, and dermatitis occurs in all areas exposed to sunlight, such as redness and swelling, fire-like fever and acupuncture pain.
