Red nematodes, also known as water earthworms, are bright red and like to gather in the water, which will affect the health of the roots of rice fields and require drug control. What medicine does paddy field red nematode use?

What kind of medicine is used for red nematodes in paddy fields

Red nematodes in paddy fields can be sprayed with 29% high chlorine dichlorvos EC 70-80ml per mu, 8% rice leftover water 80 ml and 15 kg water spray, 3% phoxim effervescent granules 60 ml, evenly sprinkled into the field, and chlorpyrifos granules, carbosulfan, carbaryl and other agents can also be used.

What is the red nematode?

Red nematodes look like earthworm larvae. Belongs to the annelid aquatic oligohair class, the body color is bright red or flesh red, orange yellow, slender, generally long about 4 cm, up to 10 cm.

It has a small individual, but a high population yield. Red nematodes like to live in the mud of micro-mud waters rich in organic matter, generally lurking 10 cm-25 cm below the mud surface, and hide deep in the mud at low temperatures. When they are concentrated on the surface of the sludge, one end will be fixed in the sludge, the other end of the sludge will quiver in the water, in case of alarm, immediately retract into the sludge.

The red nematode was sexually matured at about 2 months, hermaphroditic, allogeneic fertilization, and the eggs were enclosed in a cystic cocoon composed of a transparent glial membrane. Generally, a cocoon contains 1-4 eggs, and most of them contain 7 eggs. 2-6 cocoons can be excreted from each adult during the reproductive period. When the water temperature is 22-32 ℃, the incubation period is generally 10-15 days, and the life span of artificial culture is about 3 months. In the south, it is often used as food for the cultivation of goldfish, koi and river eel seedlings, and can also be used as bait.

Drug control is needed in paddy fields, and some use red nematodes to make money.
