The vitality of red root amaranth is relatively tenacious. If red root amaranth has been planted before, and then other crops need to be removed, what herbicide does red root amaranth use?

What herbicides are used in red root amaranth

Red root amaranth can be removed by herbicides such as ethyl carboxyfluoxane, fluorosulfen and prednisone, and should be used in accordance with the instructions. If not much, it can also be pulled out manually, red root amaranth is edible.

II. Basic introduction of herbicides

1. Ethyl carboxyfluoxane

It is a diphenyl ether herbicide and is a protoporphyrin oxidase inhibitor. It is suitable for wheat, barley, peanut, soybean, sugarcane, rice field and other herbicides.

Once absorbed by plants, this product is effective only under light conditions. The compound reacts with molecular chlorine to form tetrapyrrole, which is toxic to plant cells. In the process of accumulation, the plant cell membrane disappears completely, and then causes the leakage of cell inclusions.

2. Fluorosulfen

Fomesafen is a chemical substance with low toxicity to humans and animals, mild irritation to skin and eyes, low toxicity to fish and aquatic organisms, and low toxicity to birds and bees.

It is a highly selective post-seedling herbicide in soybean and peanut fields, which can effectively control broad-leaved weeds and aconite in soybean and peanut fields, as well as Gramineae weeds. It can be absorbed by the roots and leaves of weeds and make them wither and die quickly. the rain 4-6 hours after spraying does not affect the efficacy and is safe for soybean.

3. Promethazone

It is a selective post-seedling herbicide, which is mainly used for the treatment of stems and leaves of weeds at seedling stage. it is suitable for rice, soybean, peanut, wheat and other crops to control broadleaf weeds and Cyperaceae weeds.

This product is mainly contact killing effect, and the stems and leaves of weeds must be fully moistened when spraying. There should be no rain within 8 hours after spraying, otherwise the efficacy will be affected. This product has no effect on Gramineae weeds. If mixed with herbicides to control Gramineae weeds, it should be tested first and then popularized.
