Many people in life want to keep roses alive for a long time after buying roses, but for these rootless rose stalks, people do not know how to plant them, let alone how to grow them. In fact, the probability of rootless rose rod survival is very low, the following methods and skills must be mastered in the breeding process.

How to grow rose stalks

Prepare a larger vase and put in the right amount of water. Cut an oblique opening at the bottom of the rose rod with scissors, then insert it directly into the water and change the water every 3 to 5 days. Some nutrient solution and ferrous sulfate can be added in the middle.

Second, the propagation method of rose.

1. Grafting method

Usually cultured roses can be propagated by grafting, and the simplest grafting method is direct grafting. You can use cutting snake grafting every spring to graft two kinds of paper on the rootstock of rose or magnolia. After a period of time, the branches of the rose will survive, and then it can be transplanted into the flowerpot.

2. Strip pressing method

When breeding roses, they can also be propagated by striping, which should be carried out during the peak growing season of roses. During operation, the branches of roses can be pressed down to the top, and then bent into the moist soil, so that they can only be adjusted to one end and stick out of the soil. After the branches buried in the soil grow new roots, they can be cut and put into the new flowerpot.

3. Split-plant method

Breeding roses can be propagated by means of ramets, usually the vigorous roses can be taken out of the flowerpot, the test of growing new roots can be cut open with a knife, and then disinfected and directly planted in a new flowerpot after disinfection. Slow seedlings in a cool place, 6 to 7 days later, the new rose is planted successfully.
