Second, how to grow lantern fruits?

1. Soil

Choose the soil with loose soil, medium fertility and good drainage.

After choosing a good planting land, but also for deep ploughing, generally ploughing depth of 25-30 cm. Deep ploughing can improve soil aggregate structure, improve soil fertility, improve aeration performance, increase soil temperature, strengthen water storage capacity, and active aerobic microorganisms, thus decomposing more available nutrients, which is beneficial to the growth and development of lantern fruit plants.

2. Watering

No watering before the seedling, but appropriate watering after the seedling according to the growth situation.

3. Temperature

The temperature of 20-28 ℃ in daytime and 14-17 ℃ in the evening are suitable for the growth of lantern fruit.

In addition, when applying fertilizer, all the agricultural fertilizer and chemical fertilizer should be used as the base fertilizer, and the ridge-breaking fertilizer should be applied to meet the fertilizer needs in the later stage of the lantern fruit. There are three advantages: first, the effect is quick; second, the formula fertilization has all nutrients; third, it is not easy to be green and late-maturing.

The row spacing of field planting plants was 1 × 1 m, the depth and width of planting holes were 40 cm, and 5 kg of farm manure was applied to each hole. When planting, put the seedling in the pit, one person lift the seedling, one person cultivate the soil, pour enough water, after planting, the hole surface is required to be 8-10 cm lower than the ground, in order to maintain moisture during the growing season. After planting, special attention should be paid to strengthening soil management, removing weeds, irrigating in time in case of dry weather, and applying fertilizer 2-3 times a year.
