How to raise the Hulk

The Hulk, also known as Big Leaf and White Palm, is a common indoor foliage and flowering plant. Many people like to raise several pots at home. How to raise the Hulk?

1. Soil requirements

The Hulk does not have high requirements for soil, as long as it is loose, fertile and rich in organic matter, so try to choose sandy loam rich in organic matter when selecting soil. If you make your own soil, you can use garden soil, sand, rotten leaf soil, sawdust, the right amount of organic matter to mix evenly before planting.

2. Lighting requirements

The Hulk likes to grow in a semi-overcast environment, but it does not mean that there is no need for light, so some light can be given appropriately in spring, autumn and winter, especially in winter, which can be raised directly on the balcony and shaded in summer when it is hot.

3. Moisture requirement

The Hulk does not have high requirements for water, generally as long as the basin soil is moist, so it can be watered every two or three days in spring, autumn and winter, and every other day in high temperature in summer. Do not accumulate water when watering to avoid rotting roots. In addition, some water can be sprinkled around the basin soil in summer to improve indoor air humidity.

4. Temperature requirement

The Hulk likes to grow in a cool environment, with a suitable temperature of 18-25 degrees, with a minimum of 5 degrees. Therefore, it can be properly insulated in winter and put in a cool place in summer.

5. Fertilizer requirements

Hulk does not have high requirements for fertilizer, generally every 15 days or so to apply compound fertilizer, fertilizer to slightly acidic, relatively low concentration of the best. The appropriate amount can be determined according to plant growth and soil fertility.
